Candy Time Overview

Candy Time is a sweets-themed slot from Amigo Gaming, released on 11 July 2024. Gummy bears, jelly beans, wrapped candies and a gumball machine drop onto a large 6x6 grid with 100 fixed paylines, set in a pastel candy town full of giant ice lollies. The studio rates the volatility as medium-high and gives a maximum win of 2,500x the bet. Stakes run from 0.10 to 100. The feature list is generous for a line slot: free games with sticky wilds, wild multipliers, a pick game triggered by present symbols, and a bonus buy.

The Paytable

At a €100 bet the paytable lists prizes for six, five, four and three of a kind. The regular symbols are modest:

  • Gumball machine: €250 / €150 / €100 / €20 – 2.5x, 1.5x, 1x and 0.2x the bet
  • Red bear: €150 / €75 / €50 / €15 – 1.5x down to 0.15x
  • Yellow bear: €150 / €75 / €50 for six, five and four
  • Purple bear: €50 / €30 / €20 for six, five and four
  • Orange candy: €30 / €15 / €10 for six, five and four

The top of the regular table is only 2.5x for a full line of six gumball machines. That is not where Candy Time’s value sits – with 100 lines, the game relies on many lines paying at once, and on the features.

The Scatter Pays Big

The real top symbol is the pink star scatter, and its prizes are in a different league:

  • 6 scatters: €50,000 – 500x the bet
  • 5 scatters: €10,000 – 100x
  • 4 scatters: €1,000 – 10x
  • 3 scatters: €100 – 1x

Our screenshots confirm the lower end twice: three scatters paid exactly €50 at a €50 bet, and three scatters landing side by side on the top row paid €100 at a €100 bet – 1x the stake both times. Three or more scatters also start the free games.

Free Games With Sticky Wilds

The bonus opens with a panel reading “Free games won: 8 – Wild symbols are sticky now”. Every rainbow-swirl wild that lands during the round stays in place for the remaining spins, so the grid fills up with wilds as the round goes on. The background also changes from the candy street to a pink sugar castle.

On the left a small panel shows “+3 FG” above a row of three stars – the retrigger. Our round shows it working: the counter read “Free games: 10 / 11”, so three extra games had been added to the original eight.

What the Sticky Wilds Did

By the tenth free game our grid had seven wilds stuck across the first four reels. The spin paid on 38 lines for a total of €950 at a €50 stake – 19x the bet from one spin – with a single highlighted line worth €380 on its own. That is how Candy Time reaches its bigger wins: the regular symbols pay little, but with wilds locked in place, dozens of the 100 lines connect at once.

In the base game, wilds already make a difference without sticking. One spin with several wilds and columns of coin-shaped candies paid on 22 lines for €127.50, 2.55x the €50 stake.

Pick a Present

Present symbols are the third ingredient. According to Amigo Gaming, three or more of them boost your winnings through a pick game. On our screenshot the grid shows gift boxes with x5, x10 and x20 labels, the ticker reads “Pick a present!”, and the win meter shows €250 – exactly five times the €50 stake, which fits the x5 present on the bottom row.

Buying the Free Games

The Buy Your Bonus screen offers 8 free games for €5,500 at a €100 bet – 55x the stake. The price scales with your bet. Two further tabs in the buy menu, marked with a jackpot icon and a chart icon, were shown with padlocks in our session, so the free games were the only purchase on offer.

What the Stake Changes

Every prize in Candy Time is a fixed multiple of the bet, so the game plays the same at every level – only the amounts change. At the €0.10 minimum, three scatters pay 10 cents, six scatters €50, and the free games buy costs €5.50. At the €100 maximum the same six scatters are worth €50,000 and the buy costs €5,500. The 2,500x ceiling ranges from €250 at the bottom of the range to €250,000 at the top. Because the buy price moves with the stake, it is always 55 bets, whatever you play.

100 Lines on a 6x6 Grid

The lines screen draws the patterns across the full 6x6 grid: the six rows first, then V shapes, zig-zags and stepped lines. With 100 lines on 36 positions, almost every cell sits on many lines at once, which is why a column of three or four identical candies can light up twenty lines in one go.

Graphics and Setting

Candy Time is bright and cheerful: a candy-cane frame around the reels, a giant swirl lollipop and melting ice lollies in the foreground, shopfronts with striped awnings behind. The symbols are glossy gummy bears in red, yellow and purple, jelly beans, wrapped sweets and a gumball machine. In the free games the scene moves to a pink castle under a blue sky dotted with balloons.

Candy Time and Kingdom Crown

Amigo Gaming later used the same 6x6 frame for Kingdom Crown, a calmer fruit game with 50 lines and medium-low volatility. Candy Time is the more volatile of the two, with twice the lines and sticky wilds in the bonus.

Who It Is For

Candy Time is for players who like busy grids and features that build during a round. The regular paytable is flat, but the 500x scatter, sticky wilds on 100 lines and the pick-a-present multipliers give it real upside, and the 55x buy lets you go straight to the free games. With medium-high volatility, expect quiet stretches between the sweet spots. All six casinos we checked carry it.
