How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Crown Strike – Hold & Hit 3×3 is a Spinomenal fruit slot that trims the classic idea down to three reels, three rows and five fixed lines, then bolts a diamond-based bonus game on top. The royal crown above the reels is only decoration; the real action comes from a pair of coloured diamonds, a three-spin bonus that keeps resetting and four jackpots topped by 1,000x. Spinomenal released the game on 24 September 2026, and it carries a maximum win of 5,000x the bet.

Classic Symbols, Simple Lines

The base game is deliberately plain. Cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, watermelons, grapes, bells and BAR symbols pay for three of a kind on one of the 5 fixed lines, always from left to right, and only the highest win on each line is paid. At the demo stake of 0.05 the paytable lists three cherries at 0.05, the three low fruits at 0.20, watermelons and grapes at 0.80, the BAR at 1.00 and the bell at 1.50, which means 1x, 4x, 16x, 20x and 30x the bet. The red 777 Wild pays 2.5 for three, a full 50x, and it replaces every symbol except the two diamond types.

Two Diamonds, One Trigger

Everything interesting is built from the diamonds. The blue Bonus diamond can land only on reels 1 and 3, and the orange Bonus Collect diamond lands only on reel 2. Put a Collect diamond in the middle together with Bonus diamonds on the outer reels and the bonus game starts. The triggering diamonds lock in place on a framed 3x3 grid, and the rest of the cells are left open for new diamonds.

Even a spin that does not start the bonus can pay. When a Collect diamond lands with one or more Bonus diamonds, jackpot diamonds included, in a combination that does not trigger the bonus, it gathers their values and adds them to the spin win immediately. This Instant Win works only in the base game, which gives the base game extra pay.

Bonus Blast

The base game also hides a random feature called Bonus Blast. When it activates, extra Bonus and Bonus Collect diamonds spread over the reels until there are enough of them to start the bonus game. It is a way into the main feature that costs nothing, although it only shows up at random and happens in the base game only.

How The Hold & Hit Bonus Works

The bonus game begins with 3 spins, and only diamonds can land during it. Each empty cell may award a Bonus diamond carrying a multiplier of your bet: x1, x2, x5, x7, x10 or x15, or one of the four jackpots. The moment a Bonus diamond lands, every Collect diamond on the board absorbs it, the diamond disappears from the reels and its value is added to the Collect total. A new landing sets the counter back to 3, so a busy round can run for a long time. The feature ends after three spins without a landing, or sooner if the total hits the 5,000x cap, and the combined value of all Collect diamonds is paid as the Bonus Win.

The demo shows how this plays out. In one bought round, diamonds worth 0.25 and 0.05 landed beside the orange Collect, a Minor jackpot diamond showed up a little later, and the Collect values climbed through 0.3, 0.9 and 1.2 as more diamonds were absorbed. The round closed with a total win of 1.8 on a 0.05 bet, or 36x. Because this is a Hold and Spin style bonus, patience matters: one lucky chain of landings can lift the total far above a typical result.

Jackpots And Buy Options

Four plaques above the reels display the jackpot values for the current bet. At 0.05 they read 50, 7.5, 2.5 and 1.25, which correspond to Grand 1,000x, Major 150x, Minor 50x and Mini 25x. They can appear as diamonds during the bonus, and a Grand needs very good fortune.

The Buy button offers three bonus modes, drawn as cards with one, two and three diamonds. At a bet of 0.05 the prices were 2.90, 4.55 and 5.60, or 58x, 91x and 112x the stake. The window has its own bet selector and the price follows it. The rules also mention an autoplay with a configurable number of spins and a turbo mode that shortens every round, so a long session does not take much time.

RTP, Volatility And Max Win

The RTP is 91.74%, which is lower than the typical 96% of many slots, so it is worth looking at the value your casino uses. The volatility is medium, the base game is steady thanks to the instant collects, and the top prize is 5,000x the bet.

Who Will Like It

Crown Strike is a good fit for players who enjoy the old fruit look but want a modern bonus with jackpots and a reset counter. The small board makes every spin easy to read, while the three buy options let you choose how much to spend for the feature. If you prefer long free-spin rounds or lots of paylines, a bigger slot will suit you better.
