Mighty Fish: Blue Marlin Overview

Mighty Fish™: Blue Marlin is a deep-sea coin slot from VoltEnt (Wazdan), released on 1 February 2024. Its tagline, printed under the logo, sums up the idea: “Collect to Infinity”. Gold coins carry cash values on a 5x3 grid, and a row of blue marlins above the reels collects them. The Marlin Row

The defining feature sits above the reels: one marlin collector for each of the five columns. Each marlin shows a running total and a small counter underneath. When coins land in its column, the marlin adds their values to its own total – in our screenshots the collectors held amounts such as 2,100, 1,500, 600 and 400. Some counters show a number, others an infinity sign: those are the collectors that keep working “to infinity”, which is where the name comes from.

We bought the Ultra package, and the balance confirms the price to the coin: 97,100 before, 57,100 after – exactly 40,000. During the round a +3 symbol added spins; the counter read 16 of 20, with the marlins holding 1,200, 500, 5,500, 2,900 and 200.

At the end the reels cleared for the Total Win screen, with the five marlins showing 1,200 + 500 + 13,300 + 4,800 + 200 = 20,000 FUN – 200x the base bet. That is exactly half the Ultra price, and a clear illustration of the high volatility: one marlin (13,300) carried most of the round, and a package that costs 400x can return well under that.
