Candy Rush Overview

Candy Rush is a sweet-themed video slot from Triple Cherry, released in August 2024. It plays on a tall 10×5 grid – ten rows stacked inside a glass sweet dispenser – and pays through Triple Cherry’s own Cherry Ways system, with up to 100,000 ways to win.

Triple Cherry publishes a default RTP of 90.29% and five alternative settings: 97.54%, 96.08%, 94.16%, 92.23% and 88.28%. The operator chooses which one you get, so the return at your casino may differ from our data box, which shows the highest option. The studio gives a hit frequency of 27.44% and a maximum multiplier of x2,016.4; no volatility rating is published. The figures below come from our own demo session at a €20 bet.

A Sweet Dispenser Full of Candy

The grid sits inside a blue and white vending machine with a gold Candy Rush sign on top. Behind it the background is a pastel sky with rainbows, candy-floss clouds and soap bubbles drifting across the screen. Empty cells show a pale waffle pattern, so the machine always looks full even when only a few symbols are paying.

The premium symbols are sweets: a rainbow lollipop, a purple star, a red striped cube, a green gem-shaped candy and a blue capsule. The low symbols are the letters A, K, Q and J, drawn as glossy jelly letters in pink, red, green and blue. An orange gummy block marked WILD substitutes for the paying symbols, and a rainbow sweet with a BONUS label is the feature trigger.

How Cherry Ways Work

The prize table explains that pays are for combinations of matching symbols from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Cherry Ways is Triple Cherry’s name for its ways system on this tall layout: a symbol pays when it appears on consecutive columns, and the number of ways is the product of the matching symbols in each column. With ten rows on five columns, that adds up to 100,000 possible ways.

In practice this means wins are drawn as long chains of symbols running down and across the machine rather than as single lines. The prize table lists three-, four- and five-of-a-kind values for every symbol, printed in cash for the current bet; at our €20 stake the figures were too small to read reliably in our captures, so we do not quote them here.

What the Base Game Paid

Our captures show a steady run of small and medium wins. A cluster of green Q letters running down the first columns paid €72.00 (3.6x). A spin with red cubes, two gummy wilds and striped candies on the left paid €80.00 (4x), and green gem candies linked through two wilds in the fourth and fifth columns paid €96.00 (4.8x).

A smaller spin with pink A letters, a blue capsule and a BONUS sweet on the grid paid €32.00 (1.6x). Across these captures the balance moved between roughly €1,904 and €2,136 – a gentle pattern that fits the published hit frequency of just over one win in four spins.

The Sweet Roulette

Bonus symbols lead to the game’s central feature. In one capture three BONUS sweets landed on the grid, two side by side and one lower down, and the game moved to a new screen: a pink lollipop-shaped wheel on a stick with SPIN in the middle and a ring of prize icons around the edge.

According to Triple Cherry, the Sweet Roulette can award free spins, transform some symbols into others, or reveal cookie symbols. The ring we captured mixed waffle icons, green and pink sweets and small prize tiles, so each spin of the wheel picks one of these outcomes.

Our round landed on a transformation. The screen announced “Waffle symbols explode!” and showed a row of sweets – a blue capsule, a green gem, a red cube and a pink star – with the waffle breaking apart in a burst of candy. The waffle cells that normally fill the grid turn into paying symbols, which is how the feature creates new ways on a machine that is mostly empty space.

Free Spins With Exploding Gumballs

The free spins phase adds explosive gumballs. When they go off, they clear symbols and cause cascades all over the screen, with new sweets dropping in to form fresh combinations. We did not capture a free spins round ourselves, so the description here follows Triple Cherry’s own feature list rather than our session.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

The spread of RTP settings matters more than usual here. At the default 90.29% the return is well below the 96% most players expect from an online slot, while the top setting of 97.54% is above it. If the casino shows the RTP in the game’s information screen, it is worth checking before you play.

The x2,016.4 maximum multiplier is moderate for a game with 100,000 ways. Older listings of this game give a lower cap of 1,035x; we use the figure from Triple Cherry’s own game page.

The spin button sits on the right in a large red circle, with an information button above it and autoplay below. The bottom bar shows the last prize, the bet and the balance, and a DEMO label with a language flag sits in the top-right corner. Because the grid is tall and narrow, the game works well on a phone held upright.
