16 Coins Score The Jackpot is a football-themed edition of the Wazdan Coins series. It has no reels or paylines in the usual sense: the game is a 4x4 grid of 16 independent positions, and everything revolves around coins that land with cash values, lock in place and pay out in the Hold the Jackpot bonus game.

Wazdan’s own description sets the ceiling: filling all 16 positions with bonus symbols awards the GRAND jackpot, worth 1,000x the bet, which is the maximum prize in the game. The figures below come from our own demo session, played at a base stake of 100 FUN.

A Pitch of Gold Coins

The grid sits on a green, stadium-lit background, and each empty cell shows a small Score the Jackpot badge. Gold coins carry cash values, red coins mark the Cash Infinity symbols, and wooden chests hide Mystery and Jackpot Mystery symbols. The four jackpot plaques are stacked on the right, next to the respin counter.

Four Fixed Jackpots

At a 100 FUN base stake the plaques read MINI 1,000, MINOR 2,000, MAJOR 5,000 and GRAND 100,000 – that is 10x, 20x, 50x and 1,000x the stake. Mini, Minor and Major land as symbols during the bonus game, while the Grand needs the whole grid. In our captures the jackpot symbols landed as blue coins marked MINI and a purple coin marked MAJOR, locking in place like any other bonus symbol until the round ended.

The Hold the Jackpot Bonus Game

According to Wazdan, landing 4 bonus symbols of any type on the central positions starts Hold the Jackpot. Every bonus symbol sticks for the rest of the round, and the counter starts at 3 respins. The game’s help screens describe the special symbols:

• Cash symbols award 1x to 5x the bet.
• Cash Infinity symbols can appear in the base game, stay on the grid until the end of the next bonus game, and award 5x to 10x.
• The Collector accumulates all Cash and Cash Infinity values on the grid and multiplies them randomly by 1x to 20x.
• A Mystery symbol can turn into any other bonus symbol except Cash Infinity, and a Jackpot Mystery only into Mini, Minor or Major. Both open one by one at the end of the round.

What Our Bonus Rounds Did

Our first round started with coins worth 200, 200, 200, 400, 200 and 300, a 700 Cash Infinity coin, two MINI symbols and two Mystery chests. Another round showed the collector at work: a chest had gathered 3,400 with a multiplier badge, and the screen announced “10 more Bonus symbols to GRAND Jackpot”. That round ended with a total win of 5,100, or 51x the stake.

The biggest screen of the session was fuller still: collectors showing 31,200 with an x8 badge and 12,900 with x3, a MAJOR, several MINIs and a Jackpot Mystery, all on one grid. The total counter was still spinning when we captured it, so we do not quote a final figure.

Chance Level

A Chance Level panel on the left raises the probability of triggering the bonus game in exchange for a higher total bet. In our demo it offered OFF, x2, x4 and x6; at x4 our 100 FUN base stake became a 400 FUN total bet. The jackpot values stayed at the 100 FUN base.

Wazdan’s own game description mentions 2x, 3x and 6x levels, so the exact steps may differ between versions or casino settings. Wazdan also notes that a Cash Infinity symbol landing on a specified line raises the chance of entering the bonus game, which is why these red coins matter even when they do not pay straight away.

Buying the Bonus

The game also sells the bonus directly. The menu offers five tiers at a 100 FUN base stake: Low for 5,000, Standard for 7,500, High for 10,000, Extreme for 15,000 and Double Extreme for 30,000 – 50x to 300x the stake. The pictures show that the higher tiers start with more coins, and the top ones add Mystery and Jackpot Mystery symbols to the opening grid.

The Gamble Option

After a win you can take the prize or play a Guess the Colour gamble: pick red or black for a face-down card, and a correct guess doubles the amount. In our capture the prize on offer was 40,800 FUN, with 81,600 shown for a correct guess.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

The game data we have lists an RTP of 96.18%, and the 1,000x ceiling is set by the Grand. That is modest for a coin game, and most wins come from the collector and the smaller jackpots rather than a full grid.
