Wild Heart Overview

The Wild Frames Cycle

The feature that makes Wild Heart different runs in the base game and works in a cycle of 10 spins. A counter at the top of the screen shows where you are (“Spins 5 of 10”). Whenever the special heart symbol lands, the cell it lands on gets a golden frame, and that frame stays in place for the rest of the cycle. When the tenth spin comes, every framed cell turns into a Wild, so the more hearts you collect along the way, the more wilds you get on the final spin of the cycle.

The hearts also build a multiplier. BGaming's rules say that if a heart drops on a cell that is already framed, the spin multiplier goes up by one. That multiplier applies to every win for the rest of the 10-spin cycle and in the free spins, and it resets to x1 when a new cycle starts. Three scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger 10 free spins. In our game the scatters were the black-horse BONUS symbols, and the award screen showed a love letter with a big 10 on it: “You've won 10 free spins.” The free spins cannot be retriggered.

During the free spins every wild that appears becomes sticky and stays until the round ends. The hearts on the reels are the wilds in this round, and a meter at the top of the screen tracks them.
