Mega Fairies Overview

Mega Fairies is a five-reel slot from CT Interactive, the online arm of CT Gaming, released on 14 September 2024 according to the studio’s own games library. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed lines, and it combines two wild symbols, a free-games feature and CT’s familiar card gamble.

SlotCatalog rates the volatility as medium-high and lists a maximum win of 5,000x. CT does not publish an RTP for the game, so check the information panel at your casino before you play for real money. An Irish Meadow

The reels stand in a green valley with a rainbow in the sky, a hobbit-style round door in the hillside on the left and blue flowers in the foreground. The symbols suit the setting: a golden harp, a lucky gold coin with a clover, a golden bell, a horseshoe, a red toadstool and a pair of strawberries with white blossoms.

The two special symbols are the four-leaf clover and a red-haired fairy. Both carry the WILD label, and the banner above the reels spells out the rule: the clover and the fairy are wild.

Screen and Controls

The layout is classic CT Interactive. Both sides of the reels carry the line numbers with a 20 FIXED label, so all lines are always in play, and the line bet is printed just below the grid. The information button sits in the top-left corner and the denomination – 0.20 FUN in the demo – in the top-right one.

Below the reels three fields show the WIN, the TOTAL BET and the CASH balance. A gear button on the left opens the settings, the red arrows on the right start the spin, and after a win the left button turns into the x2 gamble key. Each paying line is announced under the reels with its number, symbols and amount, for example “LINE 18: 200.00”.

The Two Wilds

In our captures the clover appeared on the first reel and the fairy on the second, and both could fill the whole reel as a stack of three. That matters on a 20-line game: a full wild reel on the left side of the grid joins almost every line, so any symbol that follows it across the next reels pays several times at once.

SlotCatalog lists expanding symbols among the features, and the full-height clover and fairy stacks we saw fit that description.

Fifteen Free Games

The banner above the reels also names the bonus: a clover and a fairy together award 15 free games. With the two wilds on neighbouring reels, the trigger and the wild stacks come from the same symbols, so a spin that starts the feature usually shows a strong wild pattern at the same time.

What the Session Did

The line wins are shown in cash on the line bet. Three toadstools on line 18 paid 200.00 – 20x the 10.00 line bet – and together with the wild reels the spin paid 600.00, or 3x the total bet. Three harps on line 12 paid 120.00, part of a 360.00 spin, and other spins paid 440.00 and 480.00.

The best capture came from the clover wild. With a full stack of clovers on the first reel and gold coins across the grid, the spin paid 3,300.00 – 16.5x the 200.00 total bet – spread over many lines at once.

The Gamble Feature

After a win the x2 button opens CT’s card gamble. You can bet on the colour of the next card to double the win, or on the suit to multiply it by four, and a strip at the top shows the last ten cards drawn.

We took the 360.00 win into the colour gamble, picked red and drew the queen of diamonds: the win became 720.00, and the screen offered a further suit gamble for 1,440.00. As always with this kind of feature, it does not improve the game’s return – it only makes the session more volatile.

The Maximum Win

Both CT’s games library and SlotCatalog give the maximum win as 5,000x, and SlotCatalog states it against the total bet. CT, however, usually quotes its top multiplier against the line bet. On 20 lines that reading would mean 250x the total bet. We could not settle it from our screenshots, which do not include the paytable, so treat the 5,000x figure with some caution.
