Very Hot 40 Extreme OverviewVery Hot 40 Extreme is a five-reel, three-row fruit slot from Fazi with 40 fixed paylines, an RTP of 96.45% and a published maximum win of 1,993x the bet. It was released on 22 November 2024, and the stake range runs from 0.80 to 200 per spin. It belongs to the long line of hot fruit machines that Fazi keeps refining, and the word Extreme in the title refers to the wilds: this version adds a reel-filling wild multiplier on top of the usual expanding wild, plus a scatter that pays more than any other symbol in the game. All figures below were read from demo play at a 200.00 total bet, the top of the stake range, so every amount divides neatly into a multiple of the bet. A Classic Cabinet Turned Up to Full HeatThe presentation is exactly what the name promises. The reels sit in a gold-rimmed frame over a glowing red background, each column lit from behind so the fruit seems to burn at the edges when it lands in a win. The symbol set is the traditional one: a flaming red 7, a golden bell, a bunch of grapes, a watermelon slice, and the four small fruits – cherries, plum, orange and lemon. A red outlined star marked Scatter and two green four-leaf clovers complete the set. Three jackpot plaques run across the top of the screen – Gold, Diamond and Platinum – and the controls sit in a slim bar underneath with cash, win and bet readouts. The Paytable at a 200 BetThe game prints its payouts in cash at the current stake. At 200.00, five 7s on a line pay 15,000, which is 75x the total bet; four pay 1,000 and three pay 250. The 7 is also the only symbol that pays for just two in a row, returning 50. Below it, the grapes and the bell share one row of the table: 2,500 for five (12.5x), 500 for four and 200 for three. The watermelon pays 1,000, 250 and 100. The four small fruits – cherries, plum, orange and lemon – all pay the same: 500 for five, 150 for four and 50 for three. At this stake, a three-of-a-kind on one of them returns only a quarter of the bet. The Scatter Tops the TableThe star scatter is the highest-paying symbol in Very Hot 40 Extreme. Five of them anywhere on the screen pay 20,000, which is 100x the bet and more than five sevens on a line. Four scatters pay 4,000 (20x) and three pay 600 (3x). The rules state that scatter wins are added to line wins, so a spin can collect both at once. There is no free spins round attached to the scatter; it is a straight cash prize. Two Kinds of Clover WildThe wild is a green four-leaf clover, and it can appear on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels. Whenever it lands, it expands to fill the entire reel, turning the whole column wild for that spin. The Extreme addition is the Wild Multiplier, a gold clover marked x2. It appears only on the 3rd reel, also expands to cover the full reel, and doubles any line win it takes part in. Both wilds substitute for every symbol except the scatter. In our session a single expanded clover on the middle reel turned a spin into a 950.00 win, and another, alongside plums across the board, produced 1,200.00 – 6x the bet. The best result we recorded came from a clover that expanded on the 2nd reel and connected a bell, a seven and a watermelon on the first reel with the symbols further along, for 2,050.00 – a little over 10x. How the Lines Add UpWith forty lines on a 5x3 grid, most positions sit on several lines at once, and the game draws each winning line across the reels in yellow. A spin full of plums paid 1,050.00 from a handful of four- and five-symbol lines, and a mix of cherries and bells returned 1,900.00 without any wild involved. The rules add one clarification worth knowing: only the highest win is paid on each selected line, and wins from different lines are then added together. A wild reel therefore multiplies the number of lines that pay rather than stacking prizes on a single line. The Three Progressive JackpotsThe three plaques above the reels are progressive. During our session the Gold jackpot stood at 6,955.05, the Diamond at 1,036.02 and the Platinum at 1,000.41. The ordering is unusual – Gold is the largest of the three, not Platinum – and the Platinum figure of 1,000.41 matches the one we recorded on Turbo Stars 20, another title from the same studio. The screenshots do not show what triggers a jackpot, so we cannot say how often, or at which stake, one is likely to drop. The Gamble FeatureAfter a win, the game offers a card gamble. A face-down card sits in the middle of the screen with a red heart button on one side and a black club button on the other, and you choose the colour. A strip at the top shows the most recent cards – in our round an ace of spades followed two aces of diamonds – and a Collect button banks the win at any point. In our session the gamble was offered on a 1,900.00 win. What to ExpectVery Hot 40 Extreme is at its best as a line-count game. The small fruits pay little on their own, but forty lines and reel-sized wilds mean that a single spin often pays on many lines at once, and every win we recorded came from that kind of accumulation rather than from one big combination. The published ceiling of 1,993x is modest by current standards, and the studio does not publish a volatility rating. The real upside sits in the scatter, which pays 100x for five, and in the x2 wild on the middle reel. Where to Play Very Hot 40 ExtremeYou can try this game on AztecParadise Online Casino.
