Sweet Magic Overview

Sweet Magic is a TaDa Gaming slot on a 7×7 cluster-pays grid, carrying a 97.01% RTP, medium volatility and a maximum win of 10,000x the bet. It was released on 27 May 2025.

Two things to note before anything else. The RTP is above 97%, which is rare. And if you go looking for the datasheet, the bare sweet-magic listing is a different game by another studio entirely – the TaDa title is filed separately. All figures below were read from demo play at a 40 bet.

Theme and Graphics

The grid sits in an ornate gold frame in front of a confectionery landscape: a pale blue castle with candy-cane turrets on the left, lollipops and swirled sweets along the bottom, a bright sky behind.

To the right of the frame stands the game’s one character – a pink-haired sorceress in a wide blue hat and white-and-blue robes, holding a yellow star-tipped wand. She is the only figure in the game and does not appear on the reels.

The symbols are jelly sweets. Four of them are card suits – red hearts, green spades, gold clubs and blue diamonds – and four more are larger candy faces in orange, red, green and blue, each with its own expression.

How Cluster Pays Works Here

There are no paylines. Matching symbols pay when enough of them are touching, anywhere on the 49-position grid, and the pay table is built around how many you clear at once.

The table header puts it in the studio’s own words: “Eliminate the number of grains.” It runs from 8 up to 15+, with a column for each of the four premium faces.

At the 40 bet, clearing eight of the best symbol pays 160. Nine pays 200, ten 240, eleven 320, twelve 400 and thirteen 480.

Then the table changes gear. Fourteen pays 1,000 and fifteen or more pays 2,000 – from 480 to 2,000 in two steps. A fifteen-cluster is worth more than four times a thirteen-cluster, and 50x the bet in a single clear.

The other three faces follow the same shape at 1,600, 1,200 and 800 for a 15+ cluster. Every symbol in the game is built to reward one big clear over several medium ones.

Why 49 Positions Matters

A 7×7 board carries 49 positions against the fifteen of an ordinary 5×3 slot – more than three times as many. With eight symbols in the pool, that is roughly six of each on an average board.

Which is exactly why the pay table starts counting at eight and pays properly from fourteen. On a grid this size a cluster of eight is close to what chance alone produces; a cluster of fifteen means one symbol has taken over almost a third of the screen.

It also explains the cascades. Clearing eight positions out of 49 leaves the rest of the board intact, so the refill only has to be kind in one corner for the chain to continue.

The Multiplier Wilds

The wild is a bundle of sweets marked WILD, and it does not simply substitute – it arrives with a multiplier attached to it.

The captures show them clearly: one board has two wilds sitting in pink halos labelled 32 x4 and 24 x2; another has a wild carrying 640 next to a cluster. The number on the left is the cluster value and the x figure is what the wild does to it.

The multipliers seen across the session run x1, x2, x4, x6, x7, x10 and x20. On a game whose largest single cluster is worth 50x the stake, a x20 wild is what turns a good board into a serious one.

The Win Breakdown Panel

A purple panel on the left of the frame shows the round being totalled up, line by line, and it is one of the most useful displays in this batch.

Each row carries a symbol, the number of them cleared, the multiplier applied and the resulting figure. One capture reads x10 480, x6 72 and x2 48 stacked above a WIN 676 header; another shows x20 640 leading a 1,192 total.

Because the grid cascades – cleared symbols drop out and new ones fall in – a single spin can resolve several times, and the panel is where you see each stage rather than just the final number.

What the Session Produced

The wins climbed steadily as the cascades ran on: 52, 92, 444, 676 and 1,192 against the 40 bet – from 1.3 times the stake to just under thirty.

The 1,192 board is the pick of the session: two wilds on screen, a x20 multiplier on the gold cluster worth 640 on its own, and two smaller clears alongside it.

The balance moved 1,880.00, then 1,812.00 through the middle of the run, finishing at 2,344.00 – up around five hundred, with something paying on almost every capture. That is what a 97.01% return and a medium rating look like together.

The Interface

The bottom bar is minimal: Balance on the left, a Bet field in the middle, Win on the right, and the TaDa logo doubling as the spin button.

A turbo control and an information button sit beside it, the version number is printed in the bottom-left corner, and a transaction reference runs along the foot of the screen – the same layout TaDa uses across its catalogue.

The Scatter

A separate SCATTER symbol appears in the captures at the bottom-left of the grid, distinct from both the suit jellies and the candy faces.

The datasheet lists free spins and additional free spins among the features, so the round is retriggerable once it is running. It also lists random wilds – which, given that the wilds are where the multipliers live, is the mechanic most likely to produce the 10,000x ceiling.

Who Should Play It

Sweet Magic suits players who like cluster grids and want a high return while they learn one. 97.01% is excellent, the breakdown panel makes every cascade legible, and the multiplier wilds give a busy board a clear focal point.

The thing to understand is the pay table’s shape. Eight-symbol clusters pay four times the stake and fifteen-symbol clusters pay fifty – so the small clears that fill most of a session are worth very little, and the game is really asking you to wait for one very large one.
