Rizmu Boys Overview

Rizmu Boys from Funky Games carries a 96% RTP, low volatility, 5 betways and a ceiling of 100x. It was released on 29 May 2025.

It is not a video slot. It is a pachislo – a simulation of a Japanese medal machine, played in portrait on a drawn cabinet, with three manual STOP buttons and reels you halt yourself. Everything below was read from demo play at STAKE 3.

A Cabinet, Not a Screen

The whole machine is drawn: chrome side panels, a red plastic bezel, a glowing lamp strip, and a physical SPIN ball-top lever at the bottom right that greys out while the reels are turning.

Three reels sit behind glass in the middle. The symbols are a red seven, a green seven, a BAR, a yellow bell, a blue balloon, cherries and a bespectacled cartoon face.

Medals, Not Coins

Down the left of the reels runs a ladder reading 3 medals, 2 medals, 1 medal, 2 medals, 3 medals, with the centre rung lit. That is the payline selector in its original form: one medal buys the centre line, three medals buy all five.

Stake is set on a separate TABLE LIMIT screen offering 0.6, 1.2, 3, 6, 30 and 60 per spin. The captured session ran at 3, with CREDIT showing 50.

The Stop Buttons Are Real

Three buttons marked STOP sit under the reels, flanked by CHANCE on the left and INSERT MEDAL on the right. The reels do not stop on their own – you halt each one.

In the original cabinets this is skill-stop, and whether it means anything here is the question a player will want answered. The RTP is fixed at 96% either way, so treat it as pacing rather than strategy.

The Counters Along the Top

A dot-matrix panel above the reels tracks the session: BB and RB counters down the left – Big Bonus and Regular Bonus, the two jackpot states – and a SPIN COUNTER on the right that ran 0, 9, 36 and 82 across the captures, marked X100.

Both bonus counters stayed on zero through all eighty-two spins, which tells you plainly how often those states arrive.

Do, Le, Mi, Fa, So, La, Si, Do

Between the panel and the reels sits a BONUS GAME display: three sevens above a row of eight lettered lamps spelling out the musical scale – DO LE MI FA SO LA SI DO. It is the band theme made into a progress meter.

The Payout Panels

Two small tables are printed on the cabinet either side of the reels, exactly as they would be on the real machine. The left lists BIG BONUS on three sevens and BONUS GAME on three BARs, both marked −15. The right lists three bells and three balloons at −10, and any two cherries at −2, with a REPLAY line beneath.

What It Pays

Two winning spins were captured, both returning TOTAL WIN 10.00 against STAKE 3 – a shade over 3x – and one returning 4.00. With a 100x ceiling and a low volatility rating, that is the game in miniature: small, frequent, and never dramatic.

Replay, and the Credit Game

Two lamps sit in a column to the right of the reels: REPLAY above and CREDIT GAME below. Replay is a pachislo staple – a result that returns your medals and spins again for free – and it appears on the right-hand payout table as an outcome in its own right.

Beneath them a small numbered grid runs 1–6 over 12–7, with a CREDIT readout showing 50 and a WIN readout under it showing 10, then 4.

What the Balance Did

The demo runs on a ten-million balance, which makes the movement easy to read: 10,000,000 at the start, 10,000,001 after the first winning spin, then 9,999,976 by spin thirty-six and 9,999,990 by spin eighty-two.

Eighty-two spins at a stake of 3 costs 246, and the balance is down 10 – a flattering sample, but the right shape for a 96% low-volatility machine.

Who Should Play It

Rizmu Boys is a curiosity, and a good one. If you have never played a pachislo, the medal ladder, the stop buttons and the printed cabinet tables are worth seeing. If you have, this is a faithful little reproduction with a cheerful band of cartoon musicians on the artwork.

What it is not is a modern slot. There are no cascades, no ways-to-win, no buy feature and a maximum of 100x. Anyone arriving expecting the second thing will be disappointed by the first.
