Noche de Almas

Noche de Almas is a Day of the Dead cluster slot from BGaming, released on 20 October 2026. The title means “Night of Souls”, and the game keeps that promise with an altar of candles, marigolds and sugar skulls around a grid of 6 reels and 5 rows. Wins come from groups of matching symbols, the RTP is 97.00%, the volatility is very high and the top prize is 10,000x the bet.

An Altar For The Reels

The playfield sits between two carved stone pillars, with crosses, burning candles and orange marigold bouquets at its corners and a small skull above the title. Behind the grid, faded portraits and lanterns glow in warm brown tones, and a faint mist drifts over the floor. The mood is more tender than scary, closer to a family remembrance than a horror show, and the colours of the symbols stand out clearly against the dark cells.

How Clusters Pay

There are no paylines. A win needs a group of five or more identical symbols touching each other, and the larger the group, the higher the payment. The paytable lists steps for 5, 6, 7, 8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13 or more symbols. At a 2.00 EUR total bet, the grid in the demo paid 1.40 EUR for a block of marigolds, 2.00 EUR for a group of guitarists and 3.00 EUR for a big field of Aces.

The Symbols

The premium symbols are four characters from the festival. The woman with rose-crowned sugar-skull make-up is the top payer: at a 2.00 EUR bet, 5 of her pay 2.00 EUR and a cluster of 13 or more pays 200.00 EUR. A skeleton mariachi with a guitar and a black dog with painted bones come next, both paying 100.00 EUR for 13 or more. Orange marigolds and golden butterflies form the mid tier, with 50.00 EUR at the top step, and the card values A, K, Q, J and 10 fill the low end, paying 0.20 EUR for 5 and 30.00 EUR for 13 or more.

Wild And Scatter

The Wild is a golden letter W surrounded by candles and flowers. It stands in for any symbol to complete a winning group, except the Candle, the Coins and the Special symbols. The Scatter is a blue-and-white sugar skull, and three or more of them anywhere on the reels start the free spins.

Win Flash And The Candle

The base game has a distinctive loop. Every cell that took part in a winning cluster is highlighted for one spin. If a Candle symbol lands afterwards, or was already on the reels, all the symbols in the highlighted cells vanish and are replaced with Coins or Special symbols. In the demo, a Candle turned a patch of cells into a cluster of skull coins and a 2.00 EUR spin ended with a 23.00 EUR payment.

Coins, Top Hat And Heart

The Coins come in three types, and each one carries a multiplier. The values of all Coins on the reels are added together and applied to the bet. Two Special symbols influence them:

• the Top Hat appears in highlighted cells and collects all Coins, which clears space for new symbols to fall into place;
• the Heart also appears in highlighted cells and carries a multiplier from x2 to x10 that is applied to every adjacent Coin.

Because the highlighted cells depend on the previous win, a good cluster is not only a payment but also the setup for a stronger follow-up spin.

Free Spins

Three or more Scatters trigger the bonus game, and it comes in three versions: Soul Awakening, Soul Fiesta and Soul Frenzy. The version depends on how many Scatters start the round, so a stronger Scatter landing leads to a different free spins mode. Scatters can drop into view during ordinary spins too, so every reel stop carries a little extra tension.

RTP, Volatility And Max Win

The RTP of Noche de Almas is 97.00%, which is higher than many cluster slots. The volatility is very high, so there can be quiet stretches of small wins between the big moments, and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet. The game can be tried for free in the demo above before any money is staked.

Who Will Enjoy It

This slot suits players who like cluster pays and layered features more than simple line wins, and anyone who enjoys the Day of the Dead theme with its marigolds, candles and painted skulls. The Coins, Top Hat and Heart system rewards patience, and the 97% RTP together with the 10,000x ceiling gives a high-risk, high-reward profile.
