Super Cockfight Overview

Super Cockfight is a betting game from TaDa Gaming, released on 12 June 2024. It is not a slot: there are no reels and no paylines. Instead, two animated roosters meet in a floodlit arena, and you bet on which one wins the fight – and, if you like, on how much health the winner has left at the end.

SlotCatalog lists the game with a maximum win of 500x the bet and bets from 5 to 100 – well above any single price we saw on the board, and the game does not explain on our screens how it is reached. It does not give an RTP or a volatility rating, so we leave those open rather than guess. All figures below come from our own demo session.

Meron and Wala

The two corners follow the naming of traditional Philippine cockfighting. Meron is the red corner on the left, and Wala is the blue corner on the right. Each rooster has a health bar under the arena, and a small counter shows how many players are betting on the same fight – between 48 and 52 in our session.

The payouts are not fixed. They change from fight to fight, and the betting board shows them before the bell. In our captures Meron paid 2.35, 1.91 and 2.04, while Wala paid 1.65, 1.96 and 1.84. The favourite always pays less, so the two numbers act like bookmaker odds.

The Winner’s HP Bets

Below the two main boxes sits a second row called Winner’s HP. Here you bet on the winner and on whether it finishes the fight with over 50% or under 50% of its health. These four boxes pay far more than the main bet.

In one fight the board offered 13.06 for Meron winning with over 50% health and 2.86 for Meron winning with under 50%, while the Wala boxes paid 5.16 and 2.42. In another fight the Meron “over 50%” box stood at 8.89. A clean, one-sided win is the rare result, and the odds reflect it.

Placing a Bet

Chips of 5 and 50 sit in the middle of the bottom bar. Around them you find double (x2 on everything already placed), again (repeat the last bets), undo and clear. The table limits shown above the board were min 5 and max 100, matching the SlotCatalog range.

The Fight

When betting closes, a large FIGHT banner fills the arena. The roosters circle, then clash in a burst of feathers and sparks, and their health bars drop with every hit. An HPbar switch in the corner lets you show or hide the bars during the animation.

When one bird falls, a banner names the winner – in our case MERON WIN.

Our Session

We placed 100 on Meron at 2.04 and another 100 on Meron to win with over 50% health at 8.89. Meron won, and the main bet returned 204. The health bet lost: by the end of the fight the red rooster’s bar was almost empty, so the win came in the “under 50%” box we had not backed.

The main bet behaves like a near even-money wager, while the Winner’s HP boxes pay much more – but only if you also read how close the fight will be.
