MONOPOLY Live is a live game show from Evolution, made with Hasbro, that turns the board game into a casino format. A live host spins a super-sized money wheel and you predict which segment it stops on.

The Wheel

The wheel carries 54 equal segments. 48 of them are marked with a number – 1, 2, 5 or 10 – two are 2 ROLLS, two are 4 ROLLS, and the remainder are CHANCE segments carrying instant cash prizes or multipliers.

Land on a number you backed and you are paid at those odds. Land on CHANCE and you either take a cash win immediately or receive a multiplier that applies to the next spin.

The Bonus Board

The ROLLS segments are what make the game. Hit one and play moves to an augmented reality 3D MONOPOLY board, where MR. MONOPOLY himself walks the squares on your behalf, collecting the value of every property he lands on.

He buys houses and hotels as he goes, which raises the value of properties for the rest of the round, and passing GO doubles what has been accumulated. The number of rolls you were awarded determines how far he gets – and a run that keeps landing on developed streets can build a very large total from a small stake.

It is the most theatrical bonus round in the live casino category, and unlike most augmented reality gimmicks it is doing real work: the board state genuinely changes as the round progresses.
