Megaways Bushido Princess is a Japanese-themed Megaways slot from Kalamba Games, released on 8 June 2023. A warrior princess with a katana leads the way across six reels whose heights change on every spin, for up to 16,000 ways to win. SlotCatalog lists a 96.26% RTP (the game comes in several RTP versions), high volatility and a maximum win of 30,000x the bet. Stakes run from 0.10 to 25 per spin.

A Gate in Feudal Japan

The Ways Pays screen was captured at a 6.00 stake. The top of the table is made up of the warrior’s tools:

The Princess Wild

The princess herself is the wild. She substitutes for the regular symbols, and the official description adds that wilds can expand randomly to trigger a respin and pick up a multiplier on the way. In the free spins the expanded princess fills a whole reel and carries her multiplier in large letters at the bottom – our screenshots show x2, x6 and x8.

Wilds also collect K-Cash coin prizes that land on the reels.

Free Spins

The bonus opens with a scroll between two golden dragons: “6 Free Spins Awarded – Trigger EXPANDED WILD COLUMNS and get extra spins!” The picture on the scroll shows the rule in action: an expanded wild reel with a +3 badge. Every expanded wild adds three more spins, so the round grows as long as the princess keeps expanding.

The spin counter in our screenshots proves it. One round showed 1/9 – the six starting spins had already grown by three – and another stood at 12/18, meaning the round had doubled from its start.

The trigger needs a scatter on reel one and reel five. Kalamba’s HyperBet (the lightning button) raises the stake to improve the round, and a Buy Bonus button takes you straight in.

What Our Rounds Showed

At 12/18 two expanded princesses stood side by side on the middle reels, one with x8 and one with x6. That spin paid 57.60, and the running total for the round reached 67.50.

The bet display during the free spins read 111.60, and the balance was exactly 111.60 lower than before the round – the price of the feature at that stake. In the base game, at a 2.00 bet, one spin paid 6.00 (3x).

The Big Win Leaderboard

The side panel lists the biggest recent wins: x8,701, x6,625 and x5,064 – well short of the 30,000x ceiling, but proof of how far the multiplying wilds can go.
