The number of ways is the product of the symbols on each reel. Six reels with six symbols each would give 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 = 46,656 ways, and the counts in our screenshots ranged from 7,776 to 40,320 depending on how many rows each reel showed. The maximum of 200,704 corresponds to seven positions on the outer reels and eight on each of the middle four – 7 × 8 × 8 × 8 × 8 × 7 – with the extra top reel adding the eighth position above the middle reels.

Tall symbols change the count too. When a falcon sarcophagus fills three rows, those rows count as one position, so a reel of big blocks has fewer ways – but each block is a single matching symbol that can connect with many ways on the neighbouring reels.

The Pyramid Wild

The rules say: “Wild symbol substitutes any symbol to complete a winning combination, except Bonus symbols. Appears only on reels 2–5.” In one base game spin at a bet of 10, a pyramid wild on the third reel joined Qs and monkeys for a win of 9.00.
