Live Baccarat Control Squeeze Overview

Live Baccarat Control Squeeze is a live dealer baccarat game from Evolution in which the players, not the dealer, squeeze the cards. In the casinos it usually appears as Baccarat Control Squeeze. The rules follow standard baccarat: you back the Player or the Banker hand, or bet on a tie. The difference is how the cards are revealed.

Baccarat Basics

The squeeze changes the presentation, not the rules. The hand closer to a total of nine wins. Aces are worth one point, tens and face cards are worth nothing, and the other cards keep their face value. When a total goes above nine, only the last digit counts, so 9 and 6 make 5. Whether the Player or the Banker receives a third card is decided by fixed drawing rules, so the only decision you make is the bet itself – and, at this table, how dramatically you want to reveal the cards.

How the Player Squeeze Works

Evolution’s description explains the set-up. The dealer places the cards face down onto glass panels built into a custom-made table. Two cameras under the table send the live picture of the real card faces to your screen, but the faces are hidden behind optical filters and an overlay mask in the game interface. To reveal a card, you click or tap on its corner or any edge and peel back the mask.

Our screenshots show this in action. Once the cards are down, a Reveal Cards prompt appears with a countdown timer, and each card is shown enlarged at the side of the screen. Evolution also notes that new players can practise the squeeze without placing a bet.

This sets the game apart from Evolution’s Baccarat Squeeze, where the dealer squeezes the cards of the hand carrying the larger total wager on camera. Here every player at the table peels back the cards on their own screen, at their own pace, until the timer runs out.

The Betting Grid

The layout will be familiar to anyone who has played Evolution baccarat. Player, Tie and Banker sit in the centre, with the Tie marked 8:1 in our screenshot. The side bets are P Bonus, B Bonus, Perfect Pair, Either Pair, and P Pair and B Pair, both paying 11:1. Scorecards on both sides record previous results, and the chip rack starts at €20, with Undo and Double buttons beside it.

Our Round

With a balance of €106.30, we placed a total bet of €20. After the squeeze, the round ended in a Tie. The result banner showed €20, and the balance area then showed a Last Win of €20.

RTP

There is no single RTP for the game, because every bet has its own return. Slotcatalog marks it as having an RTP range and quotes 91%. Check the in-game help for the figures of the bets you plan to use.
