Wild Sunburst Overview

Wild Sunburst is a beach volleyball slot from Foxi (Fazi), released on 15 August 2024. It plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with 40 fixed paylines, and the published maximum win is 2,320x the bet. Neither Foxi (Fazi) nor SlotCatalog publishes an RTP or a volatility rating for the game, so our data box leaves those two fields empty rather than guess.

The numbers below come from our own demo session, played at a bet of 50.00 across all 40 lines.

A Day at the Beach

The reels sit on a sandy court framed by palm trees, deck chairs and a striped beach umbrella, with the sea rolling in along the bottom of the screen. The premium symbols are four players – a red-haired server holding the ball, a blonde, a dark-haired player in a headband and a fourth in a sun hat – and the low symbols are the letters A, K, Q and J, drawn in bright beach colours.

The Wild is a striped beach ball with the word WILD across it, and the Bonus symbol is a small volleyball net. Two progressive jackpot counters run above the reels: a Platinum Jackpot and a Diamond Jackpot, which stood at 22.33 and 1,134.62 during our session.

The Paytable

The paytable shows cash values for the current bet. At 50.00 the red-haired server pays 500.00 for five, 125.00 for four and 50.00 for three – so five of her on a line return 10x the bet. The Wild pays exactly the same.

The blonde pays 125.00, 37.50 and 18.75, and the other two players pay 100.00, 25.00 and 12.50. All four letters share one line: 50.00 for five, 12.50 for four and 2.50 for three.

The Bonus symbol is a scatter and pays in any position: 1,000.00 for five (20x), 100.00 for four and 50.00 for three.

The rules add two details that matter. Wins on several lines are added together, and only the highest win is paid on each line.

How the Pays Are Spread

The table is shaped for a 40-line game. For five of a kind, the server is worth ten times as much as a letter (500.00 against 50.00). For three of a kind, the gap is twenty to one (50.00 against 2.50). In practice that means three-symbol letter lines are almost small change, while any line that reaches four or five premium symbols moves the balance noticeably.

Because 40 lines cross a 5x3 grid, the same symbols usually feed several lines at once. Most of our wins were the sum of three, four or more small lines rather than one big combination – the multi-coloured line markers on the screenshots show how many lines a single stack of symbols can light up.

Wilds in the Base Game

The Wild substitutes for every symbol except the Bonus, and on 40 lines it links up a lot of combinations. Our biggest base-game win came from three Wilds side by side in the middle row, with blondes on the first reel: 321.25, or 6.4x the bet.

A second spin put three Wilds on the bottom row and paid 135.00, and two Wilds with a column of Qs on the first reel returned 82.50. The pattern is clear: Wilds in the base game do not carry multipliers, but because the letters pay for three, even ordinary Wilds turn into several small line wins at once.

The Beach Volleyball Bonus

Three or more Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels start the Bonus game with 3 Free Spins. In our session three nets landed on reels 1, 4 and 5 together with a 72.50 line win, and the game announced: “Congratulations! You won 3 free spins!”

This is where Wild Sunburst becomes a different game. According to the rules, the third reel is a Sticky Wild Reel for the whole round. Each free spin starts with a beach volleyball rally: players hit the ball back and forth between the two sides of the court 0 to 12 times, and every field where a player hits the ball becomes a Sticky Wild.

Every Wild in the bonus carries a multiplier from x1 to x6. If a player hits the ball again from a field that is already a Sticky Wild, its multiplier rises by one. When the point is over, the remaining free positions spin, and the total win is recalculated.

How the Multipliers Combine

The most important rule is simple: Wild multipliers on the same payline multiply each other. A line through an x2 and an x3 Wild pays 6 times its normal value, and a line through three such Wilds climbs much faster.

In our round the first rally turned reel 3 into a full Wild column, and the next spin landed three more Wilds around it. With one free spin still to go, the win counter showed 456.25 – 9.1x the bet from a round that started with only three spins.

Because the Wilds stay in place for the rest of the round, every rally can only add to the board. That is why the published maximum of 2,320x is reachable only in the Bonus game, where sticky, multiplied Wilds can line up across several of the 40 lines.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

The 2,320x ceiling is moderate for a modern slot, and the base game pays mostly small line wins. With no published RTP or volatility, it is worth watching the balance during the first sessions. Ours moved between roughly 48,600 and 49,840 on the 50.00 bet, so the swings in the base game were gentle.

The Two Jackpot Counters

The Platinum and Diamond counters above the reels are part of Foxi (Fazi)’s jackpot system rather than the paytable. At our 50.00 bet the Diamond Jackpot showed 1,134.62, about 22.7x the bet, while the Platinum Jackpot showed only 22.33.

Both figures stayed the same on every screenshot we took, from the first base-game spin to the last free spin, so they did not visibly grow during our short session. The game does not explain on the pages we captured how the jackpots are won, so we treat them as a separate bonus on top of the regular pays, not as part of the 2,320x maximum.

Who Should Play It

Wild Sunburst suits players who like a bright, summery look and a bonus round with a bit of a mini-game. The volleyball rally is fun to watch, and the Sticky Wild multipliers give each of the three free spins real weight.
