20 Boost Clover is a fruit slot from Felix Gaming, released on 7 October 2025. It plays on a 5x4 grid with 20 paylines and its maximum exposure is 2,000x the total bet. Felix publishes its own figures for every release, and this one lists three return-to-player settings: 96.21%, 94.63% and 92.58%.

A Forest At Night

The reels float in a dark wood lit green from below, fireflies drifting between the trunks. A LINE BOOST panel runs down the left edge and a CHOOSE LINE selector sits across the top.

The symbols are standard fruit-machine stock: cherries, a lemon, grapes, an orange, a watermelon, a plum, a golden bell, a red 7 and a blue diamond. A green clover is the wild and a golden dollar sign is the scatter.

The scatter is far and away the biggest number on the table – ten times the diamond – and the rules note explains why: “Symbol appears on all reels. Scatter pays on any position.” Five dollar signs anywhere on the grid are worth 500x the bet, with no line required.

Four Times More Lines, A Quarter The Values

Set this paytable beside the five-line version of the same game, at the same stake, and every line value here is exactly one quarter of the figure there: the diamond 2,000 against 8,000, the seven 1,000 against 4,000, the cherries 100 against 400.

Four times as many lines, a quarter of the value on each – and both games cap at the same 2,000x. The one exception is the scatter, which pays 20,000 in both: the giveaway that it settles against the total bet rather than the line bet.

The Boost Panel, And What It Costs

The Line Boost screen states its purpose: “BOOST YOUR FAVORITE LINES WITH X2, X3 OR X5 MULTIPLIER”. Twenty line diagrams fill the screen, each with its own x2 / x3 / x5 selector and bet readout, with CLEAR, CONFIRM and ALL LINES underneath.

The cost is legible straight off the panel. With a line bet of 1.00, twenty lines come to a base bet of 20.00. With five lines switched to x2, the panel showed a TOTAL BET of 25.00.

Twenty plus five. So a x2 boost adds exactly one extra line bet to the line it is applied to – the same rate we measured on the five-line and ten-line versions of this game. It is a house standard across the Boost range, not a per-game setting.

The Game Prints The Whole Calculation

This is the best thing about the game. When a boosted line pays, the bar under the grid shows the working rather than just a number. Ours read: “BOOST LINE 11: 4 X PLUM X 2 : 160.00”.

Line eleven, four plums, doubled, for 160.00. And the paytable above gives the plum’s four-of-a-kind value as exactly 80.00 – so the boost did precisely what it says, and you can check it without leaving the screen. The spin’s total came to 720.00, or 18x the stake.

A Wild That Only Expands When It Helps

The clover carries a rule that removes a familiar annoyance:

“This Symbol is a WILD and appears on all reels. Expand and substitutes for all symbols in all positions on that reel. Wild symbol only expand if a winning combination is possible.”

In most games an expanding wild fills its reel regardless, sometimes wiping out a symbol you needed. Here it stays a single clover unless expanding actually pays, and the expanded version substitutes for everything except the scatter. One of our spins had clovers filling the first two reels entirely and returned 390.00.
