Guardians of Luxor 2 Overview

Guardians of Luxor 2 is an Egyptian slot from Red Rake Gaming, released on 19 February 2024. It runs on a 5x3 grid with 25 paylines and is set in front of the pyramids at dusk. The Symbols

There are no card royals on these reels. Every symbol is Egyptian: the Eye of Ra, the ankh, the pyramid, a winged falcon, Anubis, and three variants of burning sevens. Scarab Values

The scarab symbols carry cash values printed on their shells. At the 9.00 stake we saw 1.8, 7.2, 9, 10.8 and 18 – that is 0.2x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.2x and 2x the bet. In the free spins they stayed on the reels while the round counted down (“Remaining spins: 1”), filling most of the grid with values. With one spin left there were eight scarabs on the grid – 18, 10.8, 10.8, 9, 7.2, 10.8, 18 and 1.8 – which add up to 86.40, or 9.6x the stake. Sacred Scarabs

At the end of that round the game announced Sacred Scarabs. In the next screen three scarabs worth 10.8, 7.2 and 1.8 were stacked on the middle reel, and then a giant winged scarab expanded across the whole third reel. Reading the Pick Screen

The pick screen is a small game of chance in its own right. Several different awards are hidden under the tiles, so the order in which matching tiles appear decides the round: the first award to reach three matches wins, and every other tile you turned over is forfeited. Our round settled on one of the smaller prizes, 7 free games with a 2x multiplier. What Our Spins Showed

In the base game, a line of ankhs completed by two WILD medallions paid 9.00 – exactly the stake. Three Anubis symbols lined up across the middle row in another spin, and the win counter showed 7.92.
