Crazy HuntX Overview

Crazy HuntX is a round-based arcade game from SmartSoft Gaming, released on 28 May 2023. It is not a reel slot: instead of spinning reels, every round is played on one tall grid of symbol cells, and players place chips on the cells they expect to pay before the round closes. SlotCatalog lists it with medium volatility and a multiplier feature, and it does not publish a maximum win for it.

How a Round Works

Our screenshots show the full cycle. A round opens with a countdown above the grid and the label “Placing bets…” – in one capture the timer stands at 7 seconds. While it runs, you drop chips on individual cells. When the timer reaches zero the banner switches to “Bets closed”, the grid turns grey and the cells you backed are framed and marked with your chips.

The published game description adds that every round starts with a seven-second countdown and that stakes run from €0.01 to €200, which matches the short timer in our captures.

The Grid and Its Symbols

The grid is filled with small pixel-style icons: cherries, pears, strawberries, cupcakes, hearts, diamonds, stars and lightning bolts. Before the result they are shown in grey; when the round resolves they light up in full colour, and a wave of coloured symbols sweeps across the board in one of our screenshots. The pixel look is deliberate – SmartSoft describes the game as a mix of arcade and casino play drawn in a retro “pixel art” style.

Chips and Multipliers

Bets are placed with five chips at the bottom of the screen: 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2 and 5, with plus and minus buttons beside them. Several cells on the empty grid carry a 2x label, which marks the multiplier spots mentioned in the game’s feature list.

Reading the Screen

The interface is kept to the essentials. The chip row and the plus and minus buttons sit directly under the grid, with two fields below them: Balance and Total Bet. Before any chip is placed, the total bet reads 0 and the grid shows only the empty cells and their 2x markers, so you can see where the multiplier spots are before deciding where to bet. A round button on the left and a sound button on the right complete the controls.

What We Won

In our session we spread 60 DMO across the board. The round ended with the banner “You won 70 DMO”, and the balance line shows 19,940 DMO after the stake was deducted from a starting 20,000. The small counter in the top-left corner showed 13 to 15 other players in the same rounds, so everyone bets on the same grid at the same time.
