Fate's Fury OverviewFate's Fury is a cascading cluster slot from GameArt, released on 24 October 2023. It plays on a 5x5 grid with a 3x3 Battle Zone in the middle, and wins are formed by clusters of five or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically. GameArt rates the volatility as very high. The game's own configuration gives a 96.51% RTP (96.72% when you buy the bonus) and a maximum win of 5,000x the bet. Stakes run from 0.25 to 100. Nymph Against SuccubusThe whole game is built around a duel. On the left stands the Nymph, a green winged spirit of nature; on the right the Succubus, a purple demon with bat wings. Each has her own energy meter above her head, her own Wild symbol and her own set of powers. GameArt describes them as rivals fighting for control over the essence of magic, and the screen shows it: green light on one side, violet on the other, with the grid caught between them. Each creature has four features, and at the start of every round three of them are loaded at random. A feature fires when that side collects 5 Magic Points. Wilds earn Magic Points when they take part in a winning cluster, and at the end of each round they trigger a battle between the two creatures. The Nymph's Powers
The Succubus's Powers
Our screenshots show the Succubus side at work: in one spin at a 5.00 stake the entire grid is lit violet, every symbol replaced by glowing purple orbs, and the round paid 8.40. The Scales of FateThe third special symbol is the Scales of Fate, a golden balance with one green and one purple pan. When it lands it reveals a random symbol, and the Nymph and Succubus features are designed to leave it untouched. In the base game we also saw a banner with two crossed swords sweep across the middle of the grid – the moment the two sides clash. SymbolsThe regular symbols are gems: glowing spheres in blue, yellow, green and red make up the lower tier, while cut crystals in the same colours form the upper tier. The Wilds are winged golden shields marked with a W, green for the Nymph and purple for the Succubus. Buying the BonusThe Buy Bonus menu offers a feature called Instant Death. At a 2.50 bet it costs 250.00 – 100x the stake. The balance proves the purchase: 450.80 before, 200.80 after. Our Free Spins RoundThe purchase opened with “Congratulations, you won 10 free spins”, and the screenshots let us follow the round spin by spin at the 2.50 stake:
That is about 179x the stake with one spin still to go – well above the 100x price of the bonus. It also shows how the round works: the grid empties as clusters cascade away, and the Wilds that stay behind carry the biggest payouts. The NumbersThe figures on SlotCatalog match the game's own configuration: 96.51% RTP with RTP ranges available to operators, a 5,000x cap, and stakes from 0.25 to 100. GameArt's own page adds the very high volatility rating. With a 5x5 cascading grid, a 3x3 Battle Zone and eight different features fighting for the same space, this is a game built for swings rather than steady returns. How a Round Plays OutEvery spin follows the same sequence. The grid drops, clusters of five or more are paid and removed, and new symbols cascade in to fill the gaps. Any Wild that was part of a winning cluster adds Magic Points to its owner's meter – the two bars above the creatures' heads fill up during the round, and in our screenshots they are shown partly charged on both sides. Once a meter reaches 5 points, one of that creature's loaded features fires. When the cascades stop, the remaining Wilds trigger the battle. Two RTP FiguresThe demo's configuration lists two return figures: 96.51% for normal play and 96.72% for bought bonuses. In other words, buying Instant Death is marginally better value than waiting for the feature, at the cost of a large upfront price. Casinos can also run lower RTP versions, so the info panel at your casino is the final word. Graphics and SettingThe grid sits in a dark stone temple lit by green and violet flames, with the Fate's Fury logo in gold and green in the top left corner. The two creatures are drawn large on either side of the reels and react to what happens on the grid. It is one of GameArt's more elaborate productions, closer to a fantasy battle than a classic fruit slot. Who It Is ForFate's Fury is for players who like a busy screen with a story behind it. The cluster mechanic, the cascading grid and the two rival creatures mean that no two spins look alike, and the 100x Instant Death buy lets you skip straight to the bonus. With very high volatility and a 5,000x top prize, it is not a game for small, steady wins – it is for chasing the round where the Wilds stay on the grid.
