Carnival Beauty Overview

Carnival Beauty is a five-reel, four-row slot from KA Gaming with 50 paylines. It was released on 20 March 2025.

Two Carnivals, One Game

The presentation does something we have not seen in any other game in these batches: it changes medium between the base game and the bonus.

The base game is illustrated – feathers, sequins and masks in magenta, turquoise and gold, thrown out of focus behind the reels, with the card ranks drawn as neon outlines over them.

The free games are photographic. The background becomes real footage of a carnival parade – dancers in headdresses, a crowd, daylight – and the wild symbols become full-reel photographs of three dancers in blue, red and green costume, each lettered WILD.

The remaining symbols are card ranks from 9 to A, a jewelled carnival mask as the base-game wild and a parrot marked SCATTER.

The Header Narrates Every Spin

A strip along the top of the screen names what just paid, line by line: LINE 25 WINS $75.00, LINE 23 WINS $1000.00, LINE 12 WINS $500.00, SCATTER WINS $500.00.

On a fifty-line grid that is genuinely useful. The total tells you what you won; the header tells you which of the fifty lines did it, and for how much.

It doubles as the state line between spins, carrying GOOD LUCK while the reels turn and WON 10 FREE GAMES when the round is awarded.

What the Base Game Paid

Two ordinary results set the scale. A grid of tens and kings with a mask wild on the first reel paid $625.00 – 2.5x the stake – with the header crediting line 25 for $75.00 of it.

A second, with two scatters and a wild on the fifth reel, reached $1,050.00, or 4.2x, and the header shows line 23 alone contributing $1,000.00 of that.

Then there is the outlier. A grid filled with carnival mask wilds – seven of them across the first three reels – triggered a MEGA WIN banner and $28,500.00.

Against the $250.00 stake that is 114x, and it came from the base game rather than the bonus. Note also that the win field beneath reads $24,732.91 while the banner counts up to the final figure, so the number you see first is not the number you get.

Two things about that MEGA WIN are worth keeping. It needed wilds, not premium symbols – the rest of the grid was tens and jacks – and it happened at the ordinary stake with no feature bought. On fifty lines, a block of wilds lights a great many of them at once.

The Scatters Pay On Their Own

Three parrot scatters – one on the top row, two along the bottom – paid $500.00 in their own right, which is 2x the stake, with the header reading SCATTER WINS $500.00.

The same landing awards the round: YOU WON 10 FREE GAMES, printed on a green and gold oval with TOUCH TO START beneath it.

The scatter is a parrot rather than the usual coin or star, and it is lettered SCATTER across the tile, so there is nothing to work out. It pays from three, anywhere on the grid.

The Buy Costs Eighty Times the Stake

A red BUY FEATURE plate sits on the left rail with its price on a tag beneath it: $20,000.00. Against the $250.00 bet that is 80x.

The confirmation dialog is blunt and complete: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO PURCHASE FREE GAME AT THE COST OF $20000.00, with Cancel and BUY buttons. No small print.

And the balance proves the transaction to the cent. Before the dialog it reads $148,323.10; the next capture reads $128,823.10. That is 20,000.00 out and the bought spin’s $500.00 scatter win back in.

What the Round Returned

Inside the round a TOTAL BONUS WIN field runs beside the balance, and a numbered badge replaces the spin key with the spins remaining. Our captures catch it at 8 with $5,024.34 banked, and at 5 with $8,125.00.

The dancer wilds are doing the work: one capture has all three on screen at once, occupying the first, fourth and fifth reels in full, with card ranks between them.

The balance after the round stands at $152,498.10, against $128,823.10 when it began – a gain of $23,675.00.

That is 1.18 times the price of the ticket, and about 95x the base stake. A purchase that returns eighteen percent more than it cost is an unusually good outcome for an 80x buy, and we would say the same if it had gone the other way.

The side rails change with the mode as well: where the base game prints 50 LINES down both edges, the bonus replaces it with FREE GAME in the same position – a small touch, but it means you can tell at a glance which mode a screenshot came from.

Fifty Lines, Drawn Out

The info screen shows all fifty paylines as small grid diagrams, twenty-five to a page – our capture is the second page, numbers 26 to 50.

On a four-row grid that many lines means the reels are rarely silent, and it explains the header strip: without it, a fifty-line total would be impossible to attribute.

The controls sit in a single strip along the bottom: WIN and TOTAL BET on the left, NEW BET and MAX BET either side of the spin key, and BALANCE on the right with an info button beyond it.

Carnival Beauty is for players who want a busy fifty-line game with a genuinely distinctive bonus. Switching from illustration to photography when the free games start is a real idea rather than a palette change, the header strip makes a crowded grid readable, and the buy dialog states its price plainly.
