Blood Moon Wheel Overview

Blood Moon Wheel is a Halloween slot from Inbet, released on 9 August 2023. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 25 fixed paylines, and SlotCatalog lists stakes from 0.25 to 250. Inbet’s own catalogue tags the game with free games, a wheel bonus and a Halloween theme, and marks it as supporting a site jackpot. Neither Inbet nor SlotCatalog publishes an RTP, a volatility rating or a maximum win for it.

The setting is a haunted forest under a full moon: toadstools, candles, pumpkins and a smiling vampire, with the game’s logo written in dripping orange letters above the reels.

The Symbols

The symbols are a Halloween collection: a skull covered in melting candles, a red toadstool with a frog sitting on top, a grinning jack-o’-lantern, a black cat, a pair of poisoned green apples, a potion with an eyeball, a bubbling cauldron and a tombstone with a hand reaching out of the grave. The vampire holding a glass of red wine is the WILD, and two special symbols trigger the features: an old spellbook marked FREE SPINS and a round emblem marked BONUS WHEEL.

The Vampire Wild

The vampire substitutes for the regular symbols, and he does a lot of the work in the screenshots. On one spin he appeared on the first, second and fourth reels, and the game paid 95 on 6 lines – 3.8x the 25 bet. On another, two vampires on the top row of the first two reels combined with toadstools on the third and fourth reels for 80 on 6 lines. When several vampires land together, one spin can pay across many lines at once.

What Our Spins Showed

We played at a bet of 25, one coin on each of the 25 lines. The screenshots cover a run of seven winning spins:

  • 105 on 6 lines (4.2x) – the best spin, with pumpkins and apples on the first reels and vampires on the first and last reels
  • 95 on 6 lines (3.8x) and 80 on 6 lines (3.2x) – both built around the vampire wild
  • 45 on 3 lines – toadstools on the bottom row of three reels, 15 per line
  • 40 on 2 lines – candle skulls on the bottom row
  • 20 on 4 lines and 5 on 1 line – three toadstools on a V-shaped line pay 5, a fifth of the bet

The pattern is clear: individual line wins are small, and the game relies on hitting several lines at once. Six-line wins were the biggest base-game results we saw.

The 25 Paylines

The lines are drawn across the reels whenever a win lands, and many of them zigzag between the top and bottom rows, so a win does not need three symbols in a straight row. The message bar under the reels always tells you how many lines paid – “WIN ON 6 LINES”, “WIN ON 3 LINES” – which is a quick way to see how a result was built.

Bets and Controls

The game is played in coins: the FUN field sets the coin value, and the BET field shows the total for all 25 lines. Inbet’s catalogue lists line bets of 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50 and 100 coins, so the total bet runs from 25 to 2,500 coins. The interface is simple: a help button, balance, bet, AUTO for automatic spins, and a large pink START/STOP button. There is no gamble option in this game.

Graphics

The reels sit in an orange frame under a blue night sky, with a giant moon behind the logo and bats flying past. Winning symbols glow and are surrounded by little ghosts and skulls that float up from the reels, and the win amount appears in large orange and yellow numbers in the middle of the screen.

Free Spins and the Bonus Wheel

Two scatter symbols share the reels. The spellbook starts the free games, and SlotCatalog lists additional free spins as part of that round. The BONUS WHEEL emblem leads to the wheel bonus that gives the game its name; the emblems appeared on several of our spins, including three on one screen, but the bonus itself was not captured in our screenshots, so we cannot say which prizes the wheel holds.

The Jackpot Meter

In the top left corner, next to a spider on its web, a JACKPOT panel shows a number that changed from spin to spin in our session – 12, 2, 8, 4, 2, 1 and finally 0. Inbet’s catalogue marks the game as supporting a site jackpot, but how the meter counts and when the jackpot pays is not shown in the screenshots.

Other Versions

In March 2026 Inbet added three single-line spin-offs of the game: Blood Moon Wheel (Reel Respin), Blood Moon Wheel (Pull Tabs) and Blood Moon Wheel (3x3). All six casinos we checked carry the original and all three new versions. The original remains the only one with 25 lines and free games.

Who It Is For

Blood Moon Wheel suits players who want a light-hearted Halloween slot with plenty of small, multi-line wins. There are no published RTP or volatility figures, so the demo is the best way to judge how often the free games and the wheel arrive. All six casinos we checked carry it.
