Blackjack Overview

Blackjack from SA Gaming is a live seven-seat table, released on 20 October 2021. The lobby lists our table as M Blackjack, with a 1 – 50 limit; SlotCatalog gives bets from 1 to 500 and publishes no RTP.

The Table Rules

The felt spells out the key rules: Blackjack pays 3 to 2, the dealer must draw to 16 and stay on all 17s, and insurance pays 2 to 1.

Seats, Pairs and Bet Behind

Each of the seven seats has two side options: Pair and Bet Behind, which lets you back another player’s hand when the seats are full. The seat numbers run from 1 on the right to 8 on the left, and the running total of every hand is printed above its box – in our round 14, 14, 25 and 20, with a red B marking the bust.

The Pair option is a side bet on the first two cards forming a pair; SA Gaming shows it on every seat, but its payout is not visible in our screenshots, so check the in-game help before using it.

A Hand in Pictures

The dealer showed a 2. Seat 1 started with a king and drew a 10 for 20. The dealer then drew 5, 3 and 10 to reach 20 as well – a push. Seat 3 went from 15 to 25 and busted; seats 5 and 8 stood on 14.

The Dealer Rule in Practice

The hand shows why the drawing rule matters. Starting on 2, the dealer took a 5 and a 3 for 10, which is below 17, so another card had to come; a 10 made 20 and the dealer stopped. With a small up-card the dealer often draws several times, which is why players tend to stand on lower totals against a 2 to 6 and let the dealer take the risk of busting.

Insurance

Insurance is only offered when the dealer shows an ace. It is a side bet that the dealer has blackjack, paying 2 to 1 as printed on the felt; if the dealer does not, the insurance stake is lost and the main hand plays on.

The Studio and the Screen

SA Gaming deals the table in a green and gold studio with an MBJ sign for the round number and time. The seat boxes along the bottom show each player’s masked nickname and running total, and the dealer’s cards are repeated in a panel at the top left, so every total can be read at a glance. The controls are a single chip, a plus button, cancel and confirm.
