Design and Atmosphere

The reels sit in a dark frame in front of a wall of red and orange flames, with the golden 5 Hot Strike Dice logo on top. The dice are glossy and semi-transparent, each colour clearly distinct: red, orange, blue, green, pink and cyan. When a line wins, the symbols involved light up in a burning frame and a thin line shows exactly which payline has paid. Scatter wins end with a shower of gold coins across the screen.

The Wild Symbol

The flaming 7 with the WILD label substitutes for the dice and completes line wins. In our screenshots it landed on the first, second, third and fifth reels, and several of our wins came from two or three wilds joining a line of dice. One spin shows two wilds on reels 1 and 2 of the top line combining with three pink dice for a 40.00 win – 20 times our 2.00 bet.

The Wild Scatter

The Wild Scatter is a 7 with a scatter badge. It does not need a payline: three or more anywhere on the reels pay on their own. In one of our spins four of them landed at once, and the game paid 48.00 in total, with the familiar coin shower celebrating the scatter win.
