Little Farm Overview

Little Farm is a farmyard slot from 3 Oaks Gaming, the studio that grew out of Booongo, released on 21 September 2023. It plays on a 5x4 grid with 25 fixed paylines, and the numbers on SlotCatalog are a 95.69% RTP, medium volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x the bet. Stakes run from 0.20 to 60 per spin. Some casinos list the game as Little Farm Hold and Win, which describes its main mechanic well.

The Farmyard Cast

The reels are set inside a wooden barn, with a basket full of eggs on the roof and green hills behind. The premium symbols are the animals of the farm: a pig, a cow, a sheep and a rabbit. The lower symbols are the royals A, K, Q and J, painted in wood-grain letters. Three characters do the special work: a guard dog that acts as the wild, a hen sitting on a golden nest that carries a cash value, and the moustached farmer in a straw hat who collects those values.

The Jackpot Ladder

Four wooden signs on the left show the jackpots, and the screenshots were all taken at a bet of 10.00:

  • Grand: 50,000.00 – 5,000x the bet
  • Major: 1,000.00 – 100x
  • Minor: 500.00 – 50x
  • Mini: 200.00 – 20x

The Grand is exactly the game’s published 5,000x maximum win. In other words, the top prize of the whole slot is this one jackpot: the rest of the game, including the paylines, is built around getting close to it.

Hens and the Farmer

The core feature is a collection mechanic. Hens on golden nests land on the reels with cash values printed on them – in our screenshots 10.00, 20.00, 30.00 and 60.00, which is 1x to 6x the bet. On their own they do nothing, but when the farmer lands in the same spin he gathers every visible value.

Our screenshots show this twice. In the first, the farmer appeared on the third reel with hens worth 30 + 10 + 30 around the grid, and the game paid 70.00. In the second, he landed under two hens worth 10 + 30 and paid 40.00. Both totals match the sum of the visible hens to the cent, so the collection is a straight addition with no hidden multiplier.

The Dog Wild

The Rottweiler with the WILD sign substitutes for the regular symbols and often lands stacked, filling several positions of a reel at once. SlotCatalog also lists sticky and moving (walking) wilds among the features, which fits the stacked dogs we saw moving across the middle reels.

What Our Spins Showed

At a bet of 10.00 the regular line wins were small but frequent. A stack of dogs on the second and third reels helped a mix of K-lines to 36.00. A block of pigs across the top rows, completed by a single dog, paid 25.00. Four columns of A symbols on the first three reels added up to 19.00, and a short K-line with a dog paid 6.00. None of these reach 4x the bet – on this grid the line game is there to keep the balance moving while you wait for the farmer.

Bonus Features

According to SlotCatalog’s feature list, the game also has free spins with extra spins, a pick-objects bonus game and dedicated bonus symbols. These rounds did not appear in our screenshots, so we cannot describe how they are triggered or what they pay – the free demo on this page is the best way to see them for yourself.

Reading the Numbers

Because the bet is spread across 25 lines, a single line at 10.00 is worth only 0.40 of stake. That is why the royal wins stay in single digits and why a stacked wild matters so much: it lets one symbol count on several lines at once. The hens, on the other hand, are priced against the whole bet, so a single 60.00 hen is worth more than most full line wins in our session.

Graphics and Sound

Little Farm is drawn in a soft, cartoon style: warm wood tones, round-faced animals and a sunny sky with a red barn roof. The jackpot signs hang from a wooden post, and the controls on the right are big round buttons for autoplay, spin and turbo. It is a cheerful, uncluttered game that fits well on a phone screen.

Who It Is For

Little Farm suits players who like simple collect-and-cash mechanics. Medium volatility keeps the pace steady, the hens make almost every appearance of the farmer worth something, and the fixed jackpot ladder gives the game a clear goal – with the 5,000x Grand as the single biggest prize on offer.
