Three Pots of the Genie is an Arabian Nights slot from Play’n GO, released on 29 September 2026. It is played on 6 reels and 4 rows with 4,096 ways to win, and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet. The game is built around the Lock’n Gold bonus, a respin feature that starts when Gem Scatters land, and around three coloured pots that each change the bonus in a different way. The RTP is 94% and the volatility is medium to low.

A Palace Of Lamps And Jewels

The reels sit between purple curtains in a palace hall, with golden lamps on both sides and a desert night sky behind the grid. Three glass bottles on top of the reels glow in blue, red and purple, and they are the pots that give the game its name. The symbols are the card values 10, J, Q, K and A in gold and green, a curved sword, a green gem ring and the red genie lamp, which acts as the Wild. On the left side of the reels a jackpot ladder shows the four fixed prizes of the game.

Ways Wins In The Base Game

Ways wins are paid for matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the left-most reel, and only the highest win is paid for each symbol combination. A short message such as “2 ways won” appears with the amount. Wild symbols exist only in the base game. They can land on all reels, they can be regular Wilds or Multiplier Wilds with x2 or x3, and they substitute for all symbols except the Gem Scatters. When a win includes a different symbol next to a Wild, the Wild pays as that symbol, and a multiplier Wild increases the win.

Gem Scatters And The Three Pots

There are three kinds of Gem Scatters, and each one belongs to a pot: the blue Double Scatter, the red Ignite Scatter and the purple Bonus Scatter. Landing them triggers the Lock’n Gold feature with the matching Pot Bonus. The three pots on top of the reels fill up as the Gem Scatters collect, and a text line under the reels tells you what to look for, for example “Collect blue Gem Scatters to trigger Lock’n Gold Blue Pot Bonus”. The intro screen sums up the pots in three lines:

Blue Pot Bonus: doubles Coin values;
Red Pot Bonus: increases Coin value during Lock’n Gold;
Purple Pot Bonus: awards instant bonuses.

Lock’n Gold

A Lock’n Gold round can have one, two or all three pot features active. When it starts, all other symbols are removed and only Coins stay on the grid. After every spin the Coins that have already landed stay sticky while the reels spin again, and the player gets 4 re-spins that are reset by every new Coin or Gem Scatter. The Coins do not show their values until the feature is completely over. The possible values are 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x the bet, and they are added up, not multiplied by each other. At the end the Coins flip one by one with an animation to reveal their values, and the bet is multiplied by the final total. A full screen of Coins awards 500x plus the sum of all the multipliers on the grid.

Blue Pot: Doubling

When a blue Double Scatter lands, the Blue Pot Bonus is active. If another Double Scatter lands during the round, it selects one to three Coins, flips them to show their original value, lights them up in blue and doubles the value of each one. The doubled value stays for the rest of the round.

Red Pot: Growing Coin

The Red Pot Bonus is driven by the Ignite Scatter. It picks one Coin and increases its value by 1 or 2. That is not the end of it: every time the spin button is pressed during the feature, the same Coin grows again by 1 or 2, even without a new Ignite Scatter, until Lock’n Gold finishes. A single Coin can become very valuable this way.

Purple Pot: Instant Bonuses

The Purple Pot Bonus shows four panels above the reels, and each panel has three empty spots: Mini (20x the total bet), Minor (50x), Major (100x) and Grand (1,000x). Bonus Scatters land on the reels and turn into Mini, Minor, Major or Grand symbols, which are collected into the matching panel. When all the spots of a panel are filled, that bonus is awarded. The other Gem Scatters can land during the same Lock’n Gold round, and when they do, their pot features may unlock one after another in the order of the pots.

When The Pots Combine

The pots are not separate games. While one Lock’n Gold round is running, the other Gem Scatters can still land, and when they do, one or more of the other features may unlock and play their part. Coins can be doubled or grown while the Purple Pot panels are filling at the same time, and every new Coin or Gem Scatter resets the counter of 4 re-spins. This is how a round with three active pots can last much longer than a round with a single pot, and it is the main source of the big results in this game.

Spin Controls

The bet is changed with the plus and minus buttons one step at a time. Auto Play starts a number of consecutive rounds with the current bet and switches itself off depending on your settings or when the balance becomes too low. Holding down the SPACE button for 1.5 seconds starts Hyper Spin, which makes the spins much faster but slows down when a feature is activated. If a round is interrupted, the game stores it and lets you continue from the point of interruption when you open it again.

Using The Demo

The game starts with an intro screen that explains the three pots, and a bet panel and autoplay are available from the row of buttons under the reels. The default bet is 1.00, with a demo balance of 25,000. Ways wins in the base game are small, usually a few tenths of the bet, and the interesting moments are the Gem Scatters landing on the reels.
