The Wolf of Wall Street OverviewThe Wolf of Wall Street is a five-reel, three-row video slot from KA Gaming, released on 11 July 2024. It pays with 243 ways, and bets run from $0.30 to $150. Its identity comes from stacked Wall St. wilds on the middle reels. No RTP, volatility rating or maximum win is published in the sources we checked – SlotCatalog lists all three as not available – so our data box leaves those fields open rather than guess. The numbers below come from our own demo session, played at a total bet of $30. Money, Brokers and the City SkylineThe reels sit in a gold frame in front of a Manhattan skyline at sunset, with banknotes drifting across the screen. “243 WAYS” banners run down both sides of the grid, and a glass of whisky in the corner marks the free play mode of the demo. The premium symbols are four characters on coloured banknotes – a broker in a suit in yellow, a blonde woman in pink, a man on the phone in purple and a man in sunglasses in green – plus a stack of cash and an old red telephone. The low symbols are gold coins stamped with A, K, Q, J and 10. How 243 Ways PayWith 243 ways there are no fixed paylines: a win needs matching symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, in any row. Three of a kind on the first three reels is enough, and every combination of positions that forms the same run is paid separately. That is why the game highlights several boxes on the same reel at once after a win – each extra matching symbol on a reel adds another way. The PaytableThe paytable is printed in cash for the current bet. At a $30 total bet the yellow broker pays $500 for five (about 16.7x), $150 for four and $50 for three. The blonde woman pays $250, $120 and $40, the man on the phone $200, $100 and $25, and the man in sunglasses $150, $80 and $25. The cash stack pays $150 for five, $50 for four and $15 for three, and the red telephone $100, $40 and $10. Among the coins, the A pays $80 for five and the 10 only $10 – a third of the stake. Those values are for a single way. When a symbol appears in several rows, or when wilds cover whole reels, the same combination is paid many times over, which is where most of the game’s bigger results come from. The Wall St. WildsThe wild is a striped Wall St. street sign marked WILD, and it arrives in stacks. We only ever saw it on reels 2, 3 and 4: on one spin it filled the whole of reel 3, on another it covered reels 3 and 4 together, and on our best spin three wilds sat in the top rows of reels 2 and 3. A stacked wild multiplies the ways: every symbol on the reels around it can connect through each wild position. SlotCatalog also lists wilds with multipliers among the features, although the wilds in our captures carried no visible multiplier value. Free SpinsSlotCatalog’s feature list for the game includes free spins triggered by scatter symbols. We did not reach the round in our session, so we cannot describe how many spins it awards or how the multiplier wilds behave in it. What the Session DidWe played from a balance of about $99,590. A single wild column on reel 3 linked coins for a $15 win, and a wild on reel 4 completed a run of J coins across the first three reels for $20. Two wild reels together paid $120 in one spin, and cash stacks connected through two wilds on reel 4 for $100. The best spin came from three wilds on reels 2 and 3 with cash stacks on reels 1, 4 and 5: it paid $630, or 21x the bet, and took the balance to $99,608. The Numbers to Keep in MindWith no published RTP, volatility or maximum win, the paytable and the wilds are the best guide. The top single-way win is about 16.7x the bet, and our biggest result – 21x with wilds on two reels – shows that the multiplied ways, not the paytable figures alone, drive the game. Who Should Play ItThe Wolf of Wall Street suits players who like classic 243-ways slots with stacked wilds and a simple layout. The paytable is easy to read, the stacked wilds explain most of the bigger wins, and the free demo above lets you see how often they turn up before you play for money.
