Star Chaser Overview

Star Chaser is a five-reel, three-row slot from Foxi (Fazi) with 15 paylines and a published ceiling of 10,000x. It was released on 20 February 2025.

Neither an RTP nor a volatility rating is published for this title, and we have not invented either. All figures below were read from demo play at a 10.00 stake, in the demo’s FUN units.

Fruit on a Furnace

There is no scenery: the reels sit on a radiating orange field that glows like heated metal, with the symbols on black strips so the colour does not swallow them.

The set is the usual one – cherries, lemon, orange, plum, strawberry, blueberries, grapes and watermelon – above a golden bell, a red seven and a gold SCATTER star.

The Pots Move While You Watch

Three figures sit in a bar above the frame against a diamond, a gold bar and a silver bar. And in this game’s captures they do something none of the studio’s other titles showed us: they change.

The diamond reads 12,375.21, then 12,356.86, 12,335.60, 12,328.11 and 12,311.91. The gold bar runs 2,100.17 down to 2,049.53. The silver 350.08 down to 324.76.

Five captures of one session, and all three figures move on every one. Whatever the studio’s other games showed as static plates, these are live pools – and they are shared across the platform, so what you see here is the same number other players are looking at elsewhere.

Against the 10.00 stake they stand at roughly 1,230x, 205x and 32x.

Worth adding for anyone comparing the studio’s titles: the figures here differ from those on Sticky Tiki, Hot Rush Triple Star and Sweet Respins, which all showed 16,045.59 / 1,736.47 / 218.23. Same three pots, same platform, captured at a different moment.

The Seven Is Worth Ten Fours

At the 10.00 stake the red seven pays 5,000.00 for five – 500x – but only 500.00 for four and 100.00 for three.

That is a tenfold step between four and five, which is the steepest we have found on any of this studio’s games. Four sevens is 50x; five is 500x.

Below it the bell pays 500.00 for five (50x), the strawberry and blueberry pair 300.00 (30x), and the remaining fruit 200.00 (20x).

So eight of the eleven symbols sit between 20x and 30x for a full line. The seven is in a class of its own and everything else is interchangeable.

The practical consequence is that a four-of-a-kind seven is worth less than a five-of-a-kind bell. On fifteen lines, where a near-miss on the top symbol is a common outcome, that is a design choice with real consequences for how the game feels.

What the Reels Paid

The ordinary results are small and evenly spaced: 40.00 (4x) from oranges, 90.00 (9x) from strawberries, 100.00 (10x) from lemons and 150.00 (15x) from grapes.

Then the outlier. A grid carrying seven gold SCATTER stars – filling most of the middle of the board – paid 800.00, which is 80x the stake.

That is five times the best fruit line in the set, and it came from a symbol that pays on its own rather than along a line.

The scatter tile itself is a gold five-pointed star lettered SCATTER across the middle, drawn larger than the fruit around it, so a board carrying several of them is unmistakable even before the total appears.

Fifteen Lines, Drawn Out

The info screen shows all fifteen paylines as numbered grid diagrams – the three straight rows first, then zigzags and stepped shapes – and the frame is outlined in gold while a win resolves.

Fifteen is an unusual count. Ten and twenty are the industry’s defaults; fifteen sits between them and, on a fifteen-position grid, means a symbol filling the board lights every line exactly once.

What the Session Did

The balance runs 1,780.00 through most of the captures, dipping to 960.00 and recovering to 1,820.00.

With no published return or volatility figure, that flat arc and the scatter’s 80x are the only evidence this page can offer. Both suggest a game that ticks along and keeps its range in the star.

The demo is served from Redstone – the breadcrumb at top left reads REDSTONE / STAR CHASER / DEMO – with the studio’s usual minimal shell: balance and stake plates at bottom left, the win in large yellow numerals, and an AUTO button beside the spin key.

Who Should Play It

Star Chaser is for players who want a simple fifteen-line fruit machine with a live jackpot bar above it. The pots genuinely move, the paytable is short enough to hold in your head, and the scatter pays properly rather than merely triggering something.

The reservations are the missing RTP and volatility figures, and a paytable where the gap between four sevens and five is a factor of ten. Everything between 30x and 500x on this game is empty space.
