Loot ´n´ Load Overview

Loot ´n´ Load is a five-reel, three-row slot from Platipus with 30 paylines, a 96.11% RTP, a high volatility rating and a published ceiling of 20,000x. It was released on 27 March 2025.

All figures below were read from demo play at a $100.00 total bet. The footer states the format on every spin, in Platipus’s house style: PLAY 30 LINES.

A Western Town at Dusk

The reels stand in the middle of a frontier street – a saloon on the left, wooden storefronts on the right, a pink and blue sky above. The reel strips are dark timber and the card ranks are branded into them.

The character work is good: a bandit in a red neckerchief firing two pistols as the wild, a sheriff with a rifle, a cowgirl in a hat, and a money bag, horseshoe, dynamite and bullets filling out the set.

Four Jackpots Across the Top

The pots are set into the frame as four coloured plates: GRAND 200,000 and MINOR 10,000 on the left, MAJOR 50,000 and MINI 2,000 on the right.

Against the $100.00 stake those are 2,000x, 500x, 100x and 20x. Note that the GRAND at 2,000x is only a tenth of the game’s own 20,000x ceiling – so unlike most games in these batches, here the jackpots are comfortably inside the maximum with a great deal of room above them.

The four figures hold steady across every capture, so these are fixed multiples rather than growing pools.

The Paytable, Per Line

Platipus quotes per line. The sheriff leads on 60 for five, 15 for four and 3 for three; the cowgirl pays 40; the money bag 30; the horseshoe 25; and the card ranks 16 for five.

That is a spread of under four to one between the best symbol and the worst – remarkably flat. On thirty lines it means almost any full grid is worth something, and no single line is worth very much.

One consequence worth spelling out: with the card ranks at 16 per line and the sheriff at 60, a grid of aces on a thirty-line game is not far off a grid of sheriffs. That is the opposite of most games in these batches, where the premiums are worth ten or twenty times the ranks.

What the Base Game Paid

The base results reflect that flatness. A grid of jacks and kings with a stacked bandit wild paid $276.83 – 2.8x the stake – and the odd cents are the signature of several short lines paying at once.

Two full columns of bandits, on the second and third reels, reached $760.00, which is 7.6x. The wild is the only symbol here that stacks, and it is the only route out of the low single digits.

The bandit is drawn mid-shot, both pistols firing, and he lands as a full column rather than a single tile. In the base game that is the difference between a two-times spin and an eight-times one.

Two Tickets, Nine Per Cent Apart

The buy menu offers exactly two things: RESPINS at $6,400.00 and FREE SPINS at $7,000.00.

Converted, that is 64x and 70x the stake – and the gap between them is under ten per cent. Most games price their two tickets at two and three times each other; here the choice is genuinely about which feature you prefer, not which you can afford.

Both cards are plain white text on black with a green BUY button, and neither carries a description. What each buys is left to the paytable.

Five Free Spins, Doubled

The round is announced on a scroll: 5 FREE SPINS, with the bandit’s portrait beneath it carrying a x2 badge.

Inside it the bandit stacks down whole reels with x2 on every tile. One capture has him filling the fifth reel, four positions deep, each one doubled – and the Total win field reads $6,140.00.

Three scatters – sheriff’s stars – pay $100.00 on their own, exactly the stake, and award the round at the same time.

By the last free spin the total has reached $8,320.00, which is 83x the stake. The round is only five spins long; the multipliers and the stacking are what make it worth buying.

The Coin Board

There is a second bonus, and it is the more interesting of the two. The reels are replaced by a five-by-five board of coins, each carrying a value – 100, 200, 500, 1,000, 1,500 – with MINI plates scattered among them.

The four jackpot plates move to the left edge and a row of sheriff’s badges appears above the grid as a collection track. A WIN plate on the right reads $10,300.00.

That is 103x the stake from the board alone, and it is where the named pots are won: the MINI is sitting on the grid as a symbol, waiting to be collected like any other coin.

A second board capture shows four coins ringed in fire – 400, 400, 400 and 200 – with the total at $640.00, so the coins pay in clusters as they land rather than only at the end.

The collection track above the coin board holds ten badge positions in two rows, all of them still empty in our capture even as the board paid $10,300.00. Whatever the badges unlock sits beyond what these captures reached.

What the Session Did

The balance reads $7,450.00 and $7,080.51 in the base captures, then sits unmoved at $550.00 through every bonus capture – the rounds are paid for and nothing further is charged while they run.

The Total win field is the one to follow: $640.00, then $6,140.00, $8,320.00, $9,320.00 and a board paying $10,300.00. Against a $100.00 stake the features produced ninety to a hundred times the bet, from tickets priced at 64x and 70x.

Platipus keeps its interface uniform across the catalogue: BALANCE bottom-left, TOTAL BET bottom-right with arrows either side, a HOLD FOR TURBO ring beside the spin key, and a long bet reference number printed in the top-left corner of every spin.

Who Should Play It

Loot ´n´ Load is for players who want a busy thirty-line game with two genuinely different bonuses and honest pricing between them. The coin board is the best thing here – jackpots won as symbols rather than by a hidden trigger – and the western art is a cut above.

The reservations are a very flat paytable, where the best symbol is worth under four times the worst, and a base game that in our captures topped out at 7.6x. The 20,000x ceiling is ten times the GRAND, which leaves a great deal to the multipliers.
