Magic Coins is a coin game from Zeus Play, released on 11 November 2025. It runs on a 3x3 grid, returns 96.8% at medium-high volatility and carries four jackpots. Nine Wizard Hats

The grid floats against a violet night sky scattered with small gold stars. Each of the nine positions is empty by default, marked with the faint blue outline of a wizard’s hat – a placeholder rather than a symbol, and the only decoration inside the frame.

The Magic COINS logo sits in the top-left corner with a star over the letter I. Everything else on screen is either a jackpot plaque or a number.

Four Plaques Down The Left Edge

The Mystery Orb

One symbol is not a coin. A blue crystal ball with MYSTERY written across it lands on the grid and reveals its value afterwards – a coin amount or, presumably, one of the four plaques.

When it appeared in our session it arrived on the centre position with the middle row lit purple around it. In a game with nothing else on the board, an unrevealed symbol is the only suspense the format has.

Three Respins, Announced

The respin award is not a quiet counter change. A full-screen purple panel takes over the game and reads “Congratulations – You have won 3 RESPINS”, with “Click anywhere to continue” underneath.

After that the counter sits under the grid as three small numbered boxes – 1 2 3 – lighting up as they are used. It is the standard hold-and-win arrangement: land a new coin and the three boxes reset; land nothing three times and the round ends.

What The Coins Paid

Coins carry their value stamped in the middle. Ours read 120, 60 and 20, and one arrived marked MINI rather than with a number.

Against the €20 bet that is 6x, 3x and 1x per coin. Two rounds are worth recording. Three coins across the middle row paid €120.00 – 6x the stake. A second round that included the MINI coin paid €460.00, or 23x, which is the 200.00 plaque plus the coin values sitting either side of it.

That is the shape of an ordinary good result here: a jackpot plaque does most of the work and the numbered coins top it up.

A Ceiling That Does Not Match The Grand

One number needs explaining. Slot catalogues list the maximum win as 29,000x the bet, but the Grand jackpot at our stake was worth 1,000x – a factor of twenty-nine apart.

The explanation is that the plaques are fixed cash amounts rather than multiples. A €20,000 Grand is 1,000x at a €20 bet and a great deal more at a small one; at roughly €0.69 a spin it would be 29,000x exactly. In other words the published ceiling describes the minimum stake, and the practical consequence is the reverse of what most slots offer: the jackpots here are proportionally far more valuable the less you bet.

That is worth knowing before you set a stake. Many games with pooled or fixed jackpots require a full bet to qualify, so check your casino’s rules – but on the face of the numbers, small stakes are where the value in Magic Coins sits.

The return is a little above average, which is generous for a game built entirely around four jackpots. The medium-high variance rating is the more informative figure: nine positions is a small board, so rounds resolve quickly and the swings are contained by the grid rather than by a paytable.
