Goldie at Oktoberfest Overview

Goldie at Oktoberfest is a beer-festival video slot from Mancala Gaming, played on five reels and three rows with 20 fixed paylines. The published RTP is 95% and the maximum win is 1,808x the stake. It was released on 25 September 2024, and SlotCatalog lists bets from 0.20 to 180 per spin.

The Free Spins and the x3 Multiplier

The multiplier applies to every win in the round, and the captures prove it. With seven spins left, three hats on payline 5 paid DEM 900 – exactly the paytable’s 300 for three hats, times three.

With three spins left, a win of DEM 750 lit up the green club symbols, while two Goldie Wilds sat on the bottom row of the second and fifth reels. On the final spin those two Wilds were still in exactly the same places, now joined by two more in the middle of the grid, and a single spin paid DEM 2,100. That is consistent with the sticky wilds SlotCatalog lists for the feature: once a Wild lands in the free spins, it stays for the rest of the round.

Buy Bonus Feature

The BUY BONUS button in the top right corner opens a panel with the stake per spin and the total cost. At DEM 200 the feature costs DEM 8,400, which is 42x the bet. The panel promises: “You can win up to 12 Free Spins with Multiplier up to 4”.

So the number of spins and the multiplier are not fixed. Our natural round gave 10 spins at x3; the buy menu says the best draw is 12 spins at x4.

What the Bought Round Paid

We bought the feature once. The balance dropped from DEM 21,650 to 13,250, and the round was dealt a x2 multiplier. By the last spin four Goldie Wilds were on the grid, and that spin alone paid DEM 2,200.

The round finished at DEM 6,000 – 30x the bet, but less than the 42x it cost. One round is not an average, but it shows how much depends on the multiplier you are dealt: the same Wilds at x3 or x4 would have paid far more.

Put side by side, our two rounds tell the story of the feature. The natural round cost nothing extra and returned 26.25x with a x3 multiplier; the bought round cost 42x and returned 30x with a x2 multiplier. The Wilds did similar work in both – the multiplier made the difference.

Mystery Treasures

The rules page has a second bonus below the paytable, called Mystery Treasures, introduced with the line “Feeling lucky?” and a row of wooden beer barrels. SlotCatalog describes it as a pick-objects bonus game, where you choose items to reveal prizes. We did not trigger it in our session, so we cannot say what it paid.

The barrels suggest a pick-style choice in keeping with the beer-hall theme, but the prize values are not shown on the part of the page we captured.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

A 95% RTP is a little below the industry average of around 96%. The 1,808x ceiling is moderate, and the paytable is flat: the best line in the base game is only 25x. In practice, the free spins – with their sticky Wilds and a multiplier of up to x4 – decide how a session goes.
