Golden Chip Roulette Overview

Golden Chip Roulette is a digital roulette table from Yggdrasil, released on 9 September 2019. It uses a single-zero European wheel, a full racetrack for call bets and a twist on every spin: a handful of numbers are marked with golden multipliers. The Table and the Racetrack

The layout is the familiar one: numbers 1 to 36 with a single green zero, the three dozens, the three 2 TO 1 columns and the outside boxes for 1 to 18, EVEN, red, black, ODD and 19 to 36. Above the grid sits an oval racetrack with the classic French call bets – Tier, Orphelins, Voisins and Zero – so neighbour and sector bets are a single click.

The Call Bets

The four racetrack bets follow the standard French definitions. Voisins du Zéro covers the 17 numbers around zero, Tier the 12 numbers on the opposite side of the wheel, Orphelins the 8 numbers left between them, and Zero the small group closest to the green pocket. Clicking a sector places all its chips at once.

How the Golden Numbers Work

Before the ball drops, the game picks a few numbers and gives each one a multiplier. They appear on the wheel itself and in a strip at the top right. On the spin we recorded the strip read 27 x10, 2 x10, 31 x50 and 32 x75. SlotCatalog puts the ceiling of these multipliers at 500x.

We placed €2,000 on EVEN. The ball stopped on 32 – one of the golden numbers, marked x75 – and the result screen split the payout into two lines:

• Regular win: €4,000 – the even-money bet paying 1:1.
• Golden Chip win: – – left empty, because our stake was on EVEN and not on number 32 itself.

That split is useful: the panel shows at a glance which part of a win comes from ordinary roulette odds and which part from a golden multiplier.
