As the title suggests, Fortune Coins 2 is the direct sequel to TaDa Gaming’s original Fortune Coins, which hit the market in early 2025 and quickly gained some success across select regions. Players loved its concept, so it was only natural for the studio to bring us a continuation. And here it is – behold, the official part two. Fortune Coins 2 keeps the same core formula that made its predecessor popular but turns everything up a notch. This one is basically part one on steroids – very similar, but bigger and better. Jumping right into the gameplay, Fortune Coins 2 sticks to the same compact 3x3 reel layout with 5 fixed paylines that we saw in the first installment. Just like before, wins are formed by landing three matching symbols on adjacent reels. Symbol values were untouched, offering prizes from 1x to 50x your stake. Betting options also remain unchanged, with stakes starting at €0.20 and going up to €200 per spin. When it comes to the math, though, that’s where TaDa Gaming made some big changes, both good and not good. The most drastic difference is the max win, which has been boosted more than three times, now clocking in at a very respectable 10,000x the bet. Volatility, meanwhile, hasn’t been touched. It still sits at a low-to-medium level, rated 2/5 by the developers. The RTP, however, did suffer a little. It’s now at 96.46%, which is still solid but notably lower than what the first game offered. That said, I don’t think it’s a biggie, as the increased max win potential more than makes up for reduced payback, especially considering that when you buy the features, the percentage grows over 97%. Fortune Coins 2 FeaturesGameplay-wise, TaDa Gaming hasn’t reinvented the wheel here. Fortune Coins 2 still revolves around the Hit the Cash mechanic, which you may also know under the name Hold and Win, keeping the same familiar formula that players enjoyed. What’s different, though, is how you get there. The ways to trigger the feature have been expanded, giving us more variety and opportunities compared to the first game. Coin SymbolsJust like in the original, players will encounter three different types of bonus symbols on the reels of Fortune Coins 2. Obviously, these are represented by Coins. Why else would the game be called Fortune Coins, right? Here’s what you can expect:
Lock & Respin Bonus GameTriggering the main feature of Fortune Coins 2 requires landing at least one Coin symbol on each of the three reels. When this mode activates, all Coin values collected in the base game carry over into the bonus, and these Bonus Coins turn sticky for the remainder of the respins. Regular symbols disappear, leaving only Coins, Jackpot Coins, and Bonus Coins on the reels. The round begins with 3 respins, and every time a new Coin, Jackpot Coin, or Bonus Coin appears, the counter resets back to 3. This continues until no new symbols land and the respins run out. At the end, all prizes accumulated on Bonus Coins are paid out to the player. Fortune Coin PilesOne of the biggest additions in Fortune Coins 2 is the Fortune Coin Piles feature, or rather the way TaDa Gaming overhauled the pot collection mechanic. Above the reels, you’ll notice two piles, namely Silver and Gold, gradually filling up as you play. When standard Coins or Jackpot Coins land, they’re added to the Silver pile, while Bonus Coins go to the Gold one. At any moment, these piles can trigger their respective Toss Fortune Coins features, throwing extra coins back onto the reels and helping you reach the bonus round. Once the Toss Fortune Coins feature comes into play, a respective pile adds at least 1 regular Coin or Jackpot Coin to the reels 1 or/and 3. In the case of the Gold pile, it unleashes Bonus Coins on reels 2, and if one lands on a position with an already existing Bonus Coin, it acquires a multiplier, which grows by +1x for each stack. This value is then carried over to the bonus round. Extra BetAnother addition is the Extra Bet option, which requires an additional 50% on top of your current stake. Activating it merges the Silver and Gold piles into a single Royal Fortune Coin Pile, which combines the effects of Silver and Gold piles. Bonus BuyThe Fortune Coins 2 slot machine offers two bonus buy options that take you straight into the action. Here they are:
Fortune Coins 2 Theme & GraphicsVisually, Fortune Coins 2 is totally indistinguishable from its predecessor. It carries over the exact same design, every bit of it, making the two games look like twins. If it weren’t for the name at the top left corner, I bet you wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. It’s clearly designed to maintain the aesthetic that players of the first game already know, but at the same time, this all feels like just a lazy, cost-effective approach. You can try this game on SunClub Online Casino. There’s a unique casino bonus offer of 400% up to £1500 for a limited time. |
