Mochimon

Mochimon Overview

Mochimon is a cluster slot from Pragmatic Play, released on 23 February 2023. It is played on a 7x7 grid filled with round mochi rice-cake characters, and the rules screen sums up the maths in one line: all symbols pay in blocks of at least 5 symbols connected horizontally or vertically. SlotCatalog lists the game as high volatility with a 5,000x maximum win, an RTP of 95.5% (the game comes in several RTP versions) and stakes from 0.20 to 100.

The Mochi Paytable

We read the paytable at a bet of €2.00. The pink winged mochi is the premium symbol: 5 of them pay €2.00 (1x) and a block of 15 or more pays €300 = 150x. Below it come the crowned yellow mochi (up to €200), the blue one with a moustache and top hat (€120), the pink pig (€80), the angry green one (€60), the bear (€50) and the grey mochi with a leaf, whose smallest block of 5 pays €0.40, or 0.2x the stake. Every symbol has its own price for each size from 5 to 15+, so a cluster of 12 pinks is already worth €30.

Wins From Our Session

• Five green mochi joined in an L-shape in the bottom-left corner for €0.60 (0.3x).
• On another spin a block of six crowned yellow mochi at the top of the grid paid €2.00, and a group of six greens added €0.80, taking the spin to €2.80 = 1.4x. The panel on the left of the truck lists each cluster as it is paid.

Tumbles and Multiplier Spots

According to the game’s published description, winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in, and each win leaves a multiplier spot behind. Later wins that use the same spot double its value, starting at 2x and going up to 128x.

Free Spins and the Bonus Buy

The treasure chest is the scatter and, as the rules page confirms, it can land on all reels. The published description gives 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins for 3 to 7 chests, with the multiplier spots staying in place for the whole round. The bonus can also be bought for 100x the bet.

Who It Is For

Mochimon suits players who like cluster grids with a clear, readable paytable and a cute theme. The base game pays small blocks often, while the bigger results depend on multiplier spots building up during free spins.
