Theme and Graphics

The reels float under water, in a bright blue sea with green seaweed, coral, rising bubbles and a glowing pink jellyfish on the right. A fishing rod bends along the left edge of the grid and carries the multiplier steps from 1x to 5x, while a woven blue basket hangs above the reels. When the bonus starts, the water turns deep purple and a silver level ladder replaces the rod. The style is colourful and cartoon-like, with a cheerful red-bearded fisherman in a green shirt as the main character.

Symbols and Paytable

The high-paying symbols are pieces of fishing gear, and the low-paying ones are the card ranks A, K, Q and J, drawn with ropes and hooks. At a bet of 20, the paytable showed these wins for 3, 4 and 5 of a kind:

The Wild is a fishing boat on a wave. It substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter, the Collector and the Multi symbol, and it replaces Fish Symbols only when they are part of a payline win. Only the highest win per line is paid, and wins on different lines are added together.

Fish Symbols and the Collector

There are four Fish Symbols, each on a golden tile with a cash value. The possible values are 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x and 50x the bet. Fish can pay in two ways, at the same time or separately: as normal symbols on a payline, and through the Collector.

The Collector is the fisherman himself. When he lands together with one or more Fish Symbols, he collects and pays all the values on the screen. In the base game the Collector appears only on the 5th reel, so every fish on reels one to four is waiting for him.

Multi Symbol and the Fishing Rod

The Multi symbol shows two crossed fishing rods. Each one that lands in the base game raises the overall multiplier on the rod by 1x, up to a maximum of 5x. The stored multiplier is not used on line wins: it is applied to the next Collector that gathers at least one Fish Symbol, and it multiplies that whole catch.

Bonus Feature with Level Upgrades

The Scatter is a green tackle box. 3, 4 or 5 Scatters award 10, 12 or 15 initial free spins. The bonus starts on Level 1, and every Scatter that lands during the round adds progress on the ladder: 4 Scatters are needed for the next level. The current set of spins is always finished first, and then a new set of 10 free spins begins with a stronger boost:

• Level 2: more Fish Symbols are added to the reels,
• Level 3: Collectors can also land on the 1st reel,
• Level 4: a second set of reels is added, and each set pays its own Collector wins,
• Level 5: the Golden Fish round with 3 spins.

The upgrades of the earlier levels stay active. On Level 5, everything won in the bonus so far is stored in a Golden Fish symbol, and each time a Golden Fish appears during the three spins, the stored amount is paid again.

Power Meter

The basket above the reels is the Power Meter. When a base game spin brings 2 Scatters but not the third, the meter may trigger and add the missing Scatter, which starts the bonus. After a bonus that was started this way, the meter can receive a free progress upgrade when you return to the base game. The game has no bonus buy option.

Our Demo Session

We played at a bet of 20. In the base game, three Wilds on the first three reels paid 50. Later a Collector on reel five gathered three fish worth 10, 200 and 120: the catch of 330 lit up with a 2x step on the rod. On another spin, a Collector picked up 30 while a 4x multiplier flashed in the middle of the screen. The bonus arrived with three Scatters, and two fish worth 40 each stood on the same screen without a Collector to take them.

In the free spins we filled the first row of the ladder and reached Level 2. One Collector reeled in a group of four fish worth 10 to 20 each, and on the last free spin another gathered four fish for 90, which lifted the win counter of the round to 266. We did not reach the higher levels.
