Dracula Unleashed

Dracula Unleashed Overview

Dracula Unleashed is a vampire slot from Spinomenal, released on 8 January 2024. It runs on a 5x3 grid with 50 fixed paylines – the number is shown in the corner badge above the reels – and its main event is a free spins round in which you choose the reel that carries a stacked wild for the whole feature. SlotCatalog lists a 91.97% RTP (the game is offered in several RTP versions) and a maximum win of 1,000x; volatility is not published. Bets run from 0.50 to 500.

Fifty Lines in a Gothic Castle

The reels stand inside a stone castle hall, framed in dark teal ironwork with candles burning on either side. The symbols are Dracula himself, a silver chalice, a flintlock pistol, a wooden stake and a pair of candles for the high end, and gothic Q, J, K and A letters for the low end. Bets are set per line: at 2 per line the total bet is 100, at 10 per line it is 500.

Wilds and Mystery Coffins

There are two kinds of wild in the screenshots. The first is Dracula himself, a portrait marked WILD that can also appear as a full-height stacked wild. The second is a blood-red moon carrying the word WILD. Next to them, the game uses mystery symbols: closed coffins with a question mark, which land stacked on several reels at once and then open to reveal the same symbol. In one of our spins, coffins covered seven positions across reels 1, 2 and 4, with a BONUS symbol on reel 2.

Re-Spins

The game also has a re-spin, announced by a RE-SPIN banner in place of the logo. In our re-spin, two Dracula wilds and a blood-moon wild were on the reels together, and the single re-spin paid 1,650 at a total bet of 500. The win box for the whole sequence read 5,550 – 11.1x the bet. Another spin at the same stake paid 1,700 (3.4x) with a single blood-moon wild on the middle reel.

Free Spins: Choose Your Wild Reel

When the free spins are won, the game shows a panel with five coffins and the message: “You won free spins, choose a reel where a stacked wild will be placed throughout the free spins.” The choice is a trade-off between length and position:

• Reel 1: 10 free spins
• Reel 2: 12 free spins
• Reel 3: 14 free spins
• Reel 4: 18 free spins
• Reel 5: 20 free spins

A stacked wild on the first reel helps every line start, so it gives the fewest spins; a wild on the last reel only helps five-of-a-kind wins, so it gives the most.

What Our Free Spins Showed

We played two free spin rounds at a total bet of 100:

• With Dracula locked on reel 1, the stacked wild completed several lines of Qs, and with 9 free spins still to go the round had already paid 980 – 9.8x.
• With the wild on reel 4, a spin with Js and a second Dracula wild paid 480, taking the round to 900 (9x) with 5 spins left.

The Bonus Buy

The Buy Feature window reads “Trigger free spins with stacked wild feature”. At a bet of 500 the price is 15,500 – 31x the bet. That is exactly the same price as in Gangster's Gold - Royal Riches, and the two games also share the reel-choice free spins with 10, 12, 14, 18 or 20 spins – the two titles appear to run on the same engine with a different theme.

Base Game Against the Bonus

Our screenshots give a rough sense of where the money sits in this game. In the base game at a total bet of 500, a single blood-moon wild paid 3.4x, and the re-spin sequence reached 11.1x. In the free spins at a total bet of 100, both of our rounds had passed 9x with several spins still to play. The buy costs 31x, so a round has to go well beyond those mid-round totals to pay back its price – the choice of reel, and whether the mystery coffins open on the right symbol, decide how far it gets.

More Vampire Slots

Spinomenal has returned to the Dracula story more than once. Dracula – The Hunt is a separate game from the studio with its own features.

Who It Is For

Dracula Unleashed is for players who like to make a decision in the bonus. The reel choice lets you pick between a short round with a strong wild and a long round with a weak one, and the mystery coffins and re-spins keep the base game busy. Keep in mind the 91.97% RTP listed by SlotCatalog and the 1,000x ceiling, both on the modest side.
