Diamond Heart 5

Diamond Heart 5 Overview

Diamond Heart 5 is a classic fruit slot released under the Foxi (Fazi) brand and developed by the Playnet studio. It came out on 19 July 2024 and plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with just 5 fixed paylines. Its one special feature is a red diamond heart that works as an expanding wild on the three middle reels.

SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 96.44% and medium volatility. No maximum win is published there, so our data box leaves that field open rather than guess. The numbers below come from our own demo session, played at a total bet of 50 DMO – 10 per line.

A Red Velvet Fruit Machine

The reels sit in a gold frame against a deep red background scattered with small glowing hearts. The symbols are the familiar fruit-machine set drawn in a clean, glossy style: a red seven, grapes, a watermelon, a gold bell, a gold star, a plum, an orange, a lemon and cherries. A blue star is the scatter, and the faceted red heart is the wild.

Winning symbols are outlined in gold and the winning line is drawn across the screen, so every payout is easy to trace back to its line.

The Paytable

The pay table shows the prizes in cash for the current bet. At a total bet of 50 DMO they read:

• Seven: 30,000 / 2,000 / 500 / 100 for five, four, three or two – five sevens on a line pay 600x the total bet, and the seven is the only symbol that pays for two
• Grapes and watermelon: 5,000 / 1,000 / 400
• Gold star: 5,000 / 1,000 / 150
• Bell: 2,000 / 500 / 200
• Plum, orange, lemon and cherries: 1,000 / 300 / 100
• Blue star (scatter): 1,000 for three – 20x the bet

The gap between the seven and everything else is large. Five of the grapes, the watermelon or the gold star pay 100x the bet, while five sevens pay six times as much.

Five Simple Lines

The five lines are the classic set: line 1 runs across the middle row, line 2 across the top and line 3 across the bottom, while line 4 is a V and line 5 an inverted V. With so few lines, a single symbol only takes part in one or two combinations, which keeps each spin easy to read.

The Expanding Heart Wild

The rules describe the red heart as an expanding wild symbol that appears only on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels. When it lands, it grows to cover the whole reel and substitutes for the other symbols on every line that crosses it. The blue star scatter is not replaced and pays in any position.

This is where the game’s bigger wins come from. Our best result came when the heart filled the second and third reels at once: two cherries and a bell on the first reel were carried across all five lines – three cherry wins of 100 and two bell wins of 200 – and the spin paid 700 DMO, 14x the bet.

When Several Hearts Land

Because the heart covers its whole reel, every additional heart makes the next spin more generous. With one expanded heart on reel 2, a symbol on reel 1 only needs one more match on reel 3 to form a three-of-a-kind. With hearts on reels 2 and 3, as in our 700 DMO spin, every symbol on the first reel is already a winner on each line that passes through it.

If all three middle reels turn into hearts at once, each of the five lines becomes at least a four-of-a-kind for whatever sits on reel 1. By our own calculation from the paytable, a full reel of sevens on both the first and the fifth reel in that situation would pay 30,000 on every line – far above anything we saw, but it shows where the top of the game lies. Playnet does not publish a maximum win, so we treat this only as an illustration.

What the Session Did

Most wins were three-of-a-kind line prizes. Three oranges on the V-shaped line 4, completed by a heart, paid 100 DMO (2x), and three bells on line 5 paid 200 DMO (4x). Four plums on line 4 returned 300 DMO (6x), and a spin with plums on the bottom row and on a second line added up to 400 DMO (8x).

The balance moved between 4,900 and 5,250 DMO early in our captures and later dropped to 1,000 DMO, before the 700 DMO heart spin lifted it back to 1,200 – a reminder that a five-line game with a large top prize can go through long quiet stretches.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

A 96.44% return is close to the market average, and medium volatility fits what we saw: frequent small line wins, with the expanding hearts and the sevens as the sources of larger results. With no free spins or bonus game, all the value sits in the base game.

Who Should Play It

Diamond Heart 5 suits players who like short, simple fruit machines with a clear paytable and one easy-to-follow feature. The expanding heart gives each spin a moment of suspense without adding complexity.

Players looking for free spins, buy features or cascading reels will find it very plain.
