Epic Crown 5

Epic Crown 5 Overview

Epic Crown 5 is a compact fruit slot from Fazi, released on 24 October 2023. It uses a 5x3 grid with 5 fixed paylines, and SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 96.96%, stakes from 0.20 to 500, an expanding wild, a Risk/Gamble game and a progressive jackpot. Volatility and maximum win are not published.

How the Lines Pay

The game rules are short: all pays run left to right from the leftmost reel, except the scatters, and only the highest win per payline is paid. The total bet is the number of lines multiplied by the bet per line; our screenshots were taken at 2.00 per line, 10.00 in total.

Paytable

At a 10.00 total bet the paytable reads:

• Seven – 10,000 for five (1,000x), 400 for four, 100 for three and 20 for two.
• Bell and grapes – 1,400 / 240 / 80.
• Red star – 1,000 / 200 / 50.
• Blue star – 200 for three.
• Watermelon – 400 / 80 / 40.
• Plum, orange, lemon and cherry – 300 / 60 / 20.

The Paytable as Multiples

Against the 10.00 total bet, five sevens pay 1,000x, five bells or grapes 140x, five red stars 100x, five watermelons 40x and five small fruit 30x. Two sevens already return 2x. With only five lines each single win is large relative to the stake, which is typical of the five-line fruit format.

The Crown Wild

The crown appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, stretches over the entire reel and substitutes for all symbols except the two stars. On a five-line game this matters a lot: a stretched crown in the middle of the grid touches every payline.

Two Star Scatters

The two stars work differently. The red star pays for three, four or five – up to 1,000 at a 10.00 bet, or 100x. The blue star only has one prize: 200 for three, 20x the bet. Neither star can be replaced by the crown, so both scatter prizes depend on the stars landing on their own. In the base game they act as extra cash awards alongside the five paylines.

Wins From Our Session

• 160.00 (16x) – watermelons with crowns on reels 2 and 4.
• 340.00 (34x) – cherries across the top and middle rows on several lines.
• 80.00 (8x) – bells with a crown on reel 2.

Gamble and Jackpots

After a win you can open the card gamble: pick red or black to double the amount. In our screenshot a 640.00 win was on the line with 1,280.00 as the target. Jackpot meters showed a Platinum Jackpot of 181.15 and a Diamond Jackpot of 525.15.
