How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Devil’s Diamond Rush Overview

Devil’s Diamond Rush is a fiery 5x3 slot from Fugaso, released on 13 March 2024. It combines a classic set of sevens, BARs, bells and cherries with a grinning devil, a scatter wheel and the feature that gives the game its name: the Diamond Rush ladder, which pays for lightning diamonds anywhere on the reels. SlotCatalog lists a 96.3% RTP, medium volatility, 20 paylines and a maximum win of 2,000x the bet. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100.

The Diamond Rush Ladder

The ladder on the left of the screen is the heart of the game. It counts the blue lightning diamonds marked “DIAMOND RUSH” and pays a multiple of the total bet for each count:

  • 3 diamonds: 1x
  • 4 diamonds: 5x
  • 5 diamonds: 15x
  • 6 diamonds: 40x
  • 7 diamonds: 100x
  • 8 diamonds: 500x
  • 9 diamonds: 2,000x

The top step is exactly the published 2,000x maximum win – here the ladder’s summit is the game’s ceiling. Each extra diamond is worth far more than the last: going from six to seven more than doubles the prize, and seven to eight multiplies it by five.

The Ladder in Action

We played the demo at a 40 stake – 2.00 per line across the 20 lines – and two screenshots show the ladder paying out exactly as printed.

In the first, six diamonds landed across the second and third reels and the game paid 1,600.00. Six diamonds are worth 40x, and 40 x 40 is 1,600 – a match to the cent. In the second, four diamonds paid 200.00: the 5x step at a 40 stake.

The Devil

SlotCatalog lists a wild in the game, and in our screenshots the red, horned devil is the symbol that completes lines of other symbols. On one spin he stood in the middle row among four sevens, and the line paid 260.00. On another, two devils on the bottom row joined a set of tridents for 130.00, and a single devil beside the sevens on the middle row completed an 80.00 line.

Sevens, Bells and Tridents

The symbol set mixes fruit-machine classics with the infernal theme: burning red 77s and single sevens, blue and purple BARs, golden bells, cherries and purple tridents. A spin full of red sevens on several lines paid 110.00. The demo does not show the paytable, so we report only the wins we saw.

What the Stake Changes

Because the ladder pays multiples of the total bet, its value scales with every stake. At the 0.20 minimum, three diamonds simply return the bet and nine are worth 400; at the 100 maximum, six diamonds pay 4,000 and the top step reaches 200,000. The proportions never change: three diamonds are a refund, four to six are a solid hit, and seven or more are where the game’s real potential lies.

Diamonds vs Lines

Our screenshots make the balance of the game easy to see. The best line win we recorded was 260.00 – 6.5x the bet. A single six-diamond landing paid 1,600.00, more than six times as much. The paylines keep the balance ticking over, but the ladder is where the big moments come from.

The Scatter Wheel

The scatter is a small prize wheel with “SCATTER” written underneath. SlotCatalog’s feature list mentions a bonus wheel, a spin-the-wheel mechanic and random multipliers; the wheel itself does not appear in our screenshots, so we cannot describe its prizes.

Graphics

The reels burn inside a frame of flames, with curling devil’s tails as arrows at the top corners. The Devil’s Diamond Rush logo in red and gold sits above the ladder, and gold coins fly across the screen whenever a bigger win lands. The controls sit in a slim column on the right.

More From Fugaso

Fugaso built much of its catalogue on coins and link features; Almighty Hot Wins is another of its fruit-style games with a modern twist.

Who It Is For

Devil’s Diamond Rush suits players who like a simple, readable slot with one clear chase. The line wins keep the base game moving, the devil wild completes lines, and the Diamond Rush ladder gives every spin a small chance of a big jump – up to the full 2,000x for nine diamonds. Medium volatility keeps the pace steady. All six casinos we checked carry it.
