Coyote Gems OverviewCoyote Gems is a five-reel, three-row slot from Foxi (Fazi) with 5 fixed paylines and a published ceiling of 1,000x. It was released on 15 May 2025. It is a classic in the strictest sense of the word: no wild, no scatter, no free spins and no bonus round. Seven symbols, five lines, and a paytable steep enough that the top of it is the maximum win. All figures below were read from demo play at two different stakes. A Coyote on the RidgeThe reels sit on a dark blue night scene. A wildflower meadow rolls away to the left under a hazy hillside; to the right, a coyote stands on a rock in silhouette, head raised, framed against the moon. The frame is deliberately quiet – a thin gold border, line indicators numbered 4, 2, 1, 3 and 5 stacked down both sides, and nothing else. Foxi builds these to look like the cabinet games they descend from, and the restraint is the point. Seven Symbols, and Nothing ElseThe reels carry a blue-white seven at the top, then a purple round-cut gem, a blue hexagonal gem, a green emerald, a pink princess-cut diamond, a red ruby and a yellow triangular gem at the bottom. That is the entire symbol set. There are no card royals padding it out, which is unusual and works in the player’s favour: every symbol on the reels pays something. The Paytable, at 500.00At a 500.00 RSD stake the table reads as follows. The seven pays 500,000.00 for five, 100,000.00 for four and 10,000.00 for three. The purple gem pays 250,000.00, 50,000.00 and 5,000.00. The blue hexagon and the green emerald are twins at 100,000.00, 20,000.00 and 4,000.00. The pink diamond and the red ruby are twins as well, at 20,000.00, 10,000.00 and 2,000.00. The yellow triangle is the one oddity. It pays 20,000.00 for five, 5,000.00 for four, 2,000.00 for three – and 500.00 for just two, the only symbol in the game that pays from a pair. The Seven Is the CeilingConvert those figures to the stake and the design becomes obvious. Five sevens returns 1,000x – exactly the published maximum win. There is no accumulator, no multiplier trail and no feature that could take a player past it. The top line of the paytable is the top of the game. Below it: the purple gem at 500x, the blue and green gems at 200x, the pink and red at 40x, and the yellow triangle at 40x for five falling to 1x for a pair. It Scales ExactlyA second paytable capture, taken at a 35.00 stake in dollars, confirms that the game scales perfectly. The seven pays 35,000.00 for five – 1,000x again. The purple gem pays 17,500.00, which is 500x again. The blue hexagon and the emerald pay 7,000.00, which is 200x again. That is worth stating plainly because it is not always true. Plenty of slots with fixed cash jackpots pay the same amount whatever you stake, which quietly ruins the value at higher bets. Coyote Gems does not do that: every payout is a clean multiple of the bet at every level. Reading the Bet LineThe footer carries three readouts and no more: BALANCE on the left, BET in the middle with a minus and a plus either side, and the win figure in a wide amber panel across the centre. Under the bet figure sits a second, smaller number – 49,900.000 under a 500.00 stake, 50,000 under another. That is the credit conversion, and it is the one piece of the interface that betrays the game’s cabinet ancestry. An AUTO button sits to the left of the gold spin key. There is no turbo setting, no bet-max shortcut and no side menu of extra wagers – the whole control surface is four items wide. Five Lines, Drawn OutThe paytable screen shows the line patterns, and they are the oldest five in the business: line 1 the middle row, line 2 the top row, line 3 the bottom row, then a V and an inverted V across the three rows. The rules underneath are equally direct: All winning combinations begin with the leftmost reel and pay left to right for identical symbols. With no wild in the game, that sentence is the whole of the mechanics. What the Session PaidThe captured spins at the 500.00 stake line up against the paytable precisely, which makes them a useful sanity check. Three purple gems on line 1 returned 5,000.00 – 10x. Four pink diamonds along the bottom row returned 10,000.00 – 20x. Four purple gems on the zigzag returned 50,000.00 – 100x. A run of green emeralds across three lines at once produced the best result in the captures, 44,000.00, or 88x. Smaller spins filled in the rest: 3,000.00 and 6,000.00, both from mixed low-gem lines. The balance moved from 499,000.00 to 581,000.00 over the captured run, which is a flattering sample and should be read as one. What You Give Up, and What You GetThere is no getting around what is missing. No free spins means no round to look forward to; no wild means no near-miss that turns into a win; no gamble ladder means the win you got is the win you keep. What you get in exchange is a game with no dead symbols and a paytable you can hold in your head after one look. Hit rate in a five-line game is low, but when something lands you already know what it is worth. It also means the variance is entirely legible. The gap between the top symbol at 1,000x and the bottom pair at 1x is the whole of the game’s range, and nothing hidden sits between them – no retrigger, no progressive pot, no gamble ladder quietly doubling the tail. We have no published RTP or volatility figure for this title, and we have not invented one. What the paytable does show is a distribution weighted heavily towards the two top symbols, which in practice reads as medium-to-high variance whatever the certificate eventually says. Who Should Play ItCoyote Gems is for players who came for the reels and not for the features – the audience that still plays three-reel fruit machines and finds modern bonus rounds a distraction. On that basis it is well made: the artwork is genuinely handsome, the symbol set is clean, and the maths are transparent enough to verify from the screen. One note on the provider name. Five of our six partner casinos now list this game under Foxi, the studio’s new identity; SunClub still lists it under the old Fazi name. It is the same game and the same studio either way.
