Chilli Madness

Chilli Madness Overview

Chilli Madness is a Mexican fiesta slot from CT Interactive, the online arm of CT Gaming. CT’s own games library dates it to 14 August 2024; SlotCatalog gives 16 August. It plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 fixed lines, a red chilli wild, a free games round and a double-up game after wins.

SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 95.7% and medium-high volatility; CT itself does not publish an RTP, so check the info panel at your casino. CT gives the maximum win as 5,000x – like its other titles, measured against the line bet. On 20 lines that equals 250x the total bet, which matches the paytable. Our session was played at a total bet of 200, or 10 per line.

A Fiesta in the Village Square

The reels stand in a sunny Mexican street decorated with coloured bunting. The premium symbols are a grinning mariachi singer and a señorita with a rose in her hair, followed by a guitar and a pair of maracas. The lower symbols are a tequila bag and a foaming beer mug, and a colourful piñata appears alongside the long red chilli.

The layout is classic CT: the 20 lines are numbered down both sides of the reels, and the win, total bet and cash fields sit in a single bar at the bottom.

The Paytable

The paytable is printed for a total bet of 0.20, which makes it easy to read as multiples of the stake. The mariachi and the señorita pay 2.50 for five, 0.50 for four and 0.12 for three – 12.5x, 2.5x and 0.6x the total bet. The guitar and the maracas pay 1.00, 0.25 and 0.10, or 5x, 1.25x and 0.5x.

The tequila bag and the beer mug pay 0.50, 0.20 and 0.05 – 2.5x, 1x and 0.25x the total bet. Our screenshots confirm the scale: three beer mugs on line 4 paid 50.00 at a total bet of 200, exactly 0.25x.

The Chilli Wild

The chilli is the wild. It substitutes for every symbol except the scatter, and it covers a whole reel when it lands. In the base game it appears only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5; in the free games it can land on all five reels.

One of our best base-game spins shows how much a single chilli can do. A full chilli reel in the middle of the grid linked guitars across many lines at once, and the spin paid 1,100.00 (5.5x). Because the wild fills the whole reel, it touches every one of the 20 lines that pass through it.

The x2 Multiplier

Several of our winning spins showed an x2 badge next to the win field. The top banner in those spins announced the chilli as wild, and the wins were doubled: a spin with three beer mugs on line 4 and more lines on top ended at 400.00, and a screen full of mariachi singers ended at 1,620.00 (8.1x) with the x2 lit.

The game does not spell out on the main screen what triggers the badge, so we report what we saw rather than a rule: some wins arrive doubled, and those are the ones that lift the base game above small line prizes.

Free Games

The top banner of the free games round reads 15 FREE GAMES, next to the piñata and the chilli. The piñata is the symbol that led into the round in our captures, and in one free games spin a stack of piñatas on reel 1 was part of a 2,000.00 (10x) win together with guitars and señoritas.

Inside the round the chilli can land on every reel, which raises the chance of several full wild reels at once. A free game with a chilli on reel 3 and maracas and señoritas on the other reels paid 800.00, and another with piñatas on reel 1 and a screen of maracas paid 1,650.00 (8.25x). SlotCatalog also lists additional free spins for the game.

The Double-Up Game

After any win below 10x the total bet, the game offers a double-up. A card is dealt face down, and you can guess its colour for x2 or its suit for x4. The last ten cards are shown in a history strip above the table.

In our capture a 3,300.00 win had already been doubled to 6,600.00 on a correct colour guess (a black nine of spades), and the screen offered a second attempt: 13,200.00 for red or black, or a suit guess for four times the stake.

Reading the Maximum Win

The 5,000x figure in CT’s games library can look confusing next to a paytable where the best symbol pays 12.5x the total bet. The explanation is the unit. At a total bet of 0.20 the line bet is 0.01, and five mariachi singers pay 2.50 – that is 250x the line bet. A full screen of mariachi singers wins on all 20 lines, which adds up to 20 × 250 = 5,000x the line bet, or 250x the total bet.

That is why our data box shows x250: we always express the maximum win against the total stake, so that different games can be compared directly. SlotCatalog repeats CT’s 5,000x without the unit, so keep the conversion in mind when you compare Chilli Madness with other slots.

Paylines and Controls

The 20 lines are fixed and shown in the rules screen as numbered patterns: straight rows, V shapes, zigzags and stepped lines. Wins pay from left to right, and only the highest win on each line counts. SlotCatalog lists a bet range from 0.20 to 10 in total, which means 0.01 to 0.50 per line.

The controls follow CT’s usual design. The green gear on the left opens the settings, the round button on the right starts the spin, and the double-up button replaces it after an eligible win. A counter in the top corner shows the denomination the demo is running at, and the whole paytable scales with it.

What the Session Did

Our results ranged from small line hits to several wins between 5x and 10x. The balance stood around 99,300–100,300 FUN throughout the captures, so the session moved up and down without a single dominant hit. The largest results came from full chilli reels and from the free games, where the wild can land on any reel.

Who Should Play It

Chilli Madness suits players who like classic CT slots: fixed lines, a paytable in plain numbers, a reel-covering wild and a double-up option after every smaller win. The 250x ceiling on the total bet is moderate, so this is a game for steady sessions rather than chasing huge multipliers.

Players who enjoy risk can use the double-up to push smaller wins higher, while those who prefer to keep every win can simply press start and continue – the offer disappears after a few seconds.
