Cactus Riches: Cash Pool

Cactus Riches: Cash Pool Overview

Cactus Riches: Cash Pool is a Mexican-themed slot from NetGame. The studio’s own game data gives a release date of 30 May 2023, a 5x4 grid with 40 paylines, an RTP of 96.20% (other RTP profiles are available), medium volatility and a maximum win of 1,000x the bet. NetGame also publishes a hit frequency of 22.46%, a big win roughly once in 81 spins and the free games feature about once in 180 spins.

The Two Playing Fields

The screen is split in two. The lower part holds the reels; above them sits the Cash Pool board, a second 5x4 field of coloured spheres, each carrying a cash value. A banner between the two reads “Golden Cash Pool upgrades award”.

The Cash Pool Values

The values on the board scale with the bet. At 0.90 the spheres showed 1.80, 2.40, 2.70, 3.00, 6.00, 9.00, 12.00, 15.00, 60.00 and 90.00; at 12.00 the same positions read 24, 32, 36, 40, 80, 120, 160, 200, 800 and 1.2K. In both cases the range runs from 2x to 100x the stake, with the gold spheres holding the two largest amounts.

How the Features Trigger

According to NetGame, four Cash Pool symbols on the reels award an instant win, and its size depends on the spheres on the upper field. Three green Bonus peppers start the free games, and the red chilli Wild replaces all other symbols in combinations. Our screenshots show a Cash Pool symbol on reel 1 and a Bonus pepper on reel 5 on the same spin.

The Paytable

The high symbols are the cactus, the tequila bottle, the sombrero and the maracas; the low symbols are A, K, Q, J and 10. At the stake on which we opened the paytable, five cacti paid 100, five tequila bottles 80, five sombreros 50 and five maracas 40. Among the letters, A paid 20 for five, K and Q 16, and J and 10 12.

A Spin We Played

At a 12.00 stake two stacked Wilds on reel 2 joined a line of 10s from reel 1 and paid 5.60.

Theme and Presentation

The reels sit on a dark purple background inside a frame carved with desert patterns, with flames along the top and a hedge of flowering cacti along the bottom. The spheres on the Cash Pool board come in green, purple, red and gold.

Who It Is For

Cactus Riches suits players who like a steady 40-line slot with an extra target on screen. The Cash Pool board shows in advance what the instant win could be worth, and medium volatility keeps the swings moderate.
