3 Pot Dragons

3 Pot Dragons Overview

3 Pot Dragons is a video slot from TaDa Gaming, released on 31 July 2024. It plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with 50 fixed lines, and its identity comes from three coloured dragon soul pots above the reels, each with its own free spins effect.

SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 97%, medium volatility, a hit frequency of 31.76% and a maximum win of 10,000x the bet, with bets from €0.10 to €100. The figures below come from our own demo session, played at a demo bet of 1, so every win in the captures reads directly as a multiple of the bet.

Dragons over the Mountains

The game is built for a phone held upright. A golden dragon with glowing eyes hangs over a purple mountain range at the top of the screen, lightning crackling around it, and below it stand the three pots: a blue, a red and a green dragon soul. The reels sit underneath in a purple frame with the 3 Pot Dragons logo.

The symbols are traditional Chinese good-luck pieces: a gold ingot bowl, a jade fortune frog, linked gold coins, red envelopes, a green lantern and a blue drum, with the card letters A, K, Q and J as the lower symbols. Two golden dragon heads – one with a purple frame, one with a green glow – are the wilds.

Rules and the Paytable

The rules page is short: “This is a 3-row, 5-reel slot machine with a fixed 50 LINES”, and all wins must start from the first reel and run consecutively to the right. The paytable lists the pays as multiples of the bet.

Five wilds pay 10x. The gold ingot bowl is the top regular symbol at 5x, 2x and 1x for five, four and three. The fortune frog and the gold coins pay 3x, 1x and 0.5x, and the red envelopes pay 1x, 0.5x and 0.2x. The line values are modest; the game’s real value sits in the free spins.

The Three Dragon Pots

When dragon soul symbols land on the reels, they trigger 8 free spins, and the award screen, branded TriLuck 3, explains what each colour does:

The blue dragon gives a random cash prize of 0x to 100x the bet. The red dragon gives a random multiplier of x2, x5 or x10. The green dragon adds wild symbols to the board. SlotCatalog notes that when several colours land together, their effects are activated at the same time, and that the pots can also crack open at random during play.

In our base game a blue, a red and a green dragon soul landed on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the same spin, and the game awarded the 8 free spins with all three effects in play.

How the Free Spins Played Out

With six free games left, the blue pot showed a 1 and the red pot a x2, and green wilds were already stacked on the first reel; the spin paid 9.90. Two spins later more wilds had spread across the grid and a spin paid 9.60, taking the round to 25.80.

The key moment came with three spins left. The green dragon had filled almost the entire grid with wilds, and the spin paid 238.50 x10 – the red dragon’s top multiplier applied to a board full of wild lines, or 2,385x the bet in a single spin.

The last free game added a row of gold ingot bowls at x2, and the round ended at 2,430.40 – about 2,430x the bet, roughly a quarter of the game’s published 10,000x maximum.

Controls

The controls sit at the bottom of the screen: a DEMO WIN field shows the running total, a coin stack sets the bet, the round TaDa button spins, and buttons for autoplay (tap or hold for settings) and turbo mode sit to the right. A FREE GAME counter in the top-left corner shows how many free spins are left.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

A 97% RTP is above the market average, and the 10,000x ceiling is high for a medium-volatility game. Our round shows how that ceiling can be approached: the green dragon’s wilds and the red dragon’s multiplier stack on top of each other.

Who Should Play It

3 Pot Dragons suits players who like Asian-themed slots with a clear, three-part bonus. The pots make it easy to see which effect is coming, and when the green and red dragons meet, the free spins can turn a small bet into a very large win.
