Los Muertos II Overview

Los Muertos™ II is a Day of the Dead slot from Wazdan, now part of VoltEnt, released on 19 October 2023. It is a small 3x3 game with 5 fixed paylines. Wazdan’s official game page lists an RTP of 96.41%, a maximum win of 40x and a Low-Medium volatility, and the game was nominated for the Game Music/Soundtrack award at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards 2024.

Symbols and the Full-Screen Wins

The reels hold only card letters – A, K, Q and J – with the five line numbers marked on the candlelit frame. Our screenshots were taken at a total bet of 100 FUN, 20 per line, and three of them show a full screen of one letter:

• Nine As – 4,000 (40x), which is the game’s maximum win.
• Nine Ks – 3,200 (32x), with a painted sugar skull in the middle of the bottom row.

Any win can be taken into Wazdan’s Unique Gamble Feature, which lets you double it up to seven times in a row. What the Gamble Can Do

The gamble works on the win you have just landed. A win that is doubled seven times in a row grows 128-fold, so even a modest line can become a much larger sum – or disappear on the first wrong call. Each step is optional, and the x2 button next to the win meter starts it.
