Wild Clusters OverviewWild Clusters is a seven-by-seven cluster-pays slot from BGaming with a 96.71% RTP, a high volatility rating and a published ceiling of 5,000x. It was released on 1 April 2025. All figures below were read from demo play at a 10.00 base bet, in the demo’s FUN units. Where a feature was bought the total bet field changes, and we say so. Gems on a Dark FieldThere is no story here and the game does not pretend otherwise: a seven-by-seven grid of gems and coloured buttons floats on a deep blue field with soft bokeh lights behind it. Clean, bright and completely abstract. The one piece of stagecraft is a large rainbow-swirled sphere parked to the right of the grid, outside it. It is not a symbol in that position – it is the feature, waiting. The premium symbols are four faceted gems: a pink cushion cut, a gold teardrop, a green hexagon and a blue square. The low symbols are four small round buttons in pink, orange, teal and blue. The Paytable Is a Long LadderCluster games pay by count, and this one publishes eight bands for every symbol: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10+, 12+ and 15+. For the pink gem that ladder runs 10.00 for five, 20.00 for six, 30.00 for seven, 50.00 for eight, 90.00 for nine, 200.00 for ten or more, 500.00 for twelve or more and 7,500.00 for fifteen or more. Look at that last step. Twelve pink gems pay 500.00; fifteen pay fifteen times as much. The whole game is built around the top band, and everything below it is small change by comparison. The four gems are tiered cleanly at 15+: pink 7,500.00, gold 3,000.00, green 1,500.00 and blue 750.00 – each roughly half the one above it. The round buttons are where the gap opens. At 15+ they pay 100.00, 100.00, 30.00 and 30.00 – so fifteen of the cheapest button is worth one two-hundred-and-fiftieth of fifteen pink gems. On this game the symbol matters far more than the count. What the Clusters Actually PaidAt the 10.00 base bet a cluster of nine paid 18.00 – 1.8x the stake – and the game throws the figure up over the grid in large white numerals while the win resolves. The clearest evidence for the point above comes from a single cascade, which paid six clusters at once and listed them down the left edge: ×13 for 200.00, ×12 for 60.00, ×11 for 400.00, ×11 for 16.00, ×10 for 20.00 and ×10 for 16.00. Read those two pairs again. A cluster of eleven paid 400.00 while a cluster of thirteen paid 200.00 – and the two clusters of eleven in the same cascade paid 400.00 and 16.00, a twenty-five-fold difference for the same number of symbols. The Sphere Fires Into the GridWhen the feature triggers, the rainbow sphere outside the frame fires a bright trail into the grid and drops wild orbs where it lands. In one capture two of those orbs arrive carrying x2 printed on them, sitting in the middle of the grid with the trail still lit behind them – so the wilds come with multipliers attached rather than merely substituting. Four Features, Four PricesThe BUY FEATURES screen is unusually generous with choice – four separate purchases rather than the usual one or two: WILD BOOST X3 at 60.00 gives a spin with three wilds in a horizontal line through the centre of the grid. WILD BOOST X5 at 240.00 gives five wilds in a cross formation in the centre. DROP DEAD SPIN at 920.00 gives one spin of premium symbols only. WILD BLAST at 2,000.00 is the top ticket, activating a random feature followed by the Wild Blast itself. Converted against the 10.00 base bet those are 6x, 24x, 92x and 200x. The cheapest of them is genuinely cheap, which is rare, and the spread between the four is wide enough that the screen is a real decision rather than a formality. And here is a detail worth knowing: when a feature is active the total bet field becomes its price – the captures show 240.00, 920.00 and 2,000.00 in that field – and the BUY button turns into a DEACTIVATE plate naming the feature you are in. Wild Boost X5 in PlayWith the cross of five wilds bought, the grid pays small and often rather than large: the readout lists ×6 for 20.00, ×6 for 10.00, ×8 for 3.00 and ×6 for 2.00. The round’s total is stated on the next capture: Total win 89.00 against the 240.00 the spin cost. The balance confirms it exactly – 107,944.00 before, 108,033.00 after, a difference of 89.00 to the cent. Drop Dead SpinThe 920.00 ticket does exactly what the screen promises, and the capture proves it: the grid contains nothing but the four premium gems – not a single round button anywhere on the forty-nine positions. Alongside them sit black skull tiles, clustered in the upper left. They are the feature’s own symbol and they are the reason for its name. What the Session DidThe balance runs 99,990.00, 99,947.00, 99,958.00 and then 97,958.00 – and that last fall is 2,000.00 exactly, the price of the Wild Blast, charged as the bet. Two captures later it stands at 110,944.00. Across that stretch the session is up about 13,000, which against the 10.00 base bet is a very large swing – and it is what a high volatility rating on a 5,000x game is supposed to look like. Five Thousand TimesThe published ceiling is 5,000x, and the paytable shows the road to it: fifteen or more pink gems at 7,500.00 on a 10.00 bet is 750x on its own, so the cap needs several top-band clusters in one cascade. The best thing in these captures is a 400.00 cluster – 40x – a hundred-and-twenty-fifth of the ceiling. Who Should Play ItWild Clusters is for players who want a clean cluster grid with a genuine choice of purchases. Four features at four prices, an eight-band paytable published in full, and a 96.71% return are all in its favour, and the sphere firing multiplier wilds into the grid is a nice piece of presentation on an otherwise abstract game. The reservations are the high volatility and the shape of that paytable: everything is concentrated in the 15+ band, and a cluster of thirteen cheap buttons is worth less than a cluster of eleven gems.
