Olympus Trueways Overview

Olympus Trueways is a BGaming slot on a six-reel board running up to 262,144 ways, with a 96.84% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x the bet. It was released on 21 May 2025.

A note on the name: the casinos and the game’s own window title both file it as Olympus TRUEWAYS, with the word order reversed from the way the logo stacks it. All figures below were read from demo play at 5.00 and 10.00 FUN stakes.

Theme and Graphics

The reels stand between marble columns on the summit itself – blue sky and cloud behind, a temple visible in the distance, and the whole frame edged in gold.

Zeus stands full-height at the left of the screen, white-bearded in a red robe, holding a lightning bolt across his body. He is not a reel symbol; he frames the board and reacts to what happens on it.

The symbols are a purple and gold crown, a red-plumed helmet, a double-headed axe, a medusa medallion and four cut gems in purple, red, blue and amber.

Trueways Is 262,144 Ways

The number is eight to the sixth power – six reels, each up to eight symbols deep. That is the largest ways count in this batch by a wide margin, and it explains everything about the pay table.

At the 5.00 bet the crown pays 25.00 for six of a kind – five times the stake – with 7.50 for five, 5.00 for four and 2.50 for three. The helmet returns 15.00 for six, and the four gems pay 2.50 each.

So the best symbol in the game is worth five spins for a full six-reel line, and the cheapest is worth half a spin. On a board where one symbol can occupy dozens of positions at once, the per-way price has to be small or the arithmetic would run away.

The Jackpot Ladder

Three meters sit above the reels: MINI, MAJOR and a large MEGA JACKPOT panel beside Zeus.

They scale exactly with the stake. At 5.00 they read 100.00, 500.00 and 5,000.00; at 10.00 they read 200.00, 1,000.00 and 10,000.00. That is 20x, 100x and 1,000x the bet in both cases.

The published maximum win is 5,000x, so the MEGA is a fifth of the ceiling – the rest has to come from the board it lands on.

Forty-Eight Positions to Fill

This is the best detail in the game. During the hold-and-win round a gold counter appears at the bottom left reading 31/48.

Forty-eight is six reels times eight rows – every position on the fully extended board. The counter is telling you how much of the grid you have filled with coins, and how much is left.

On a game where the MEGA is worth a thousand times the stake, that counter is effectively a progress bar toward the top prize. The captured round had reached thirty-one of forty-eight with coins reading 5.00, 30.00 and larger values scattered among a screen almost entirely covered in JACKPOT plates, for a running total of 545.00 at a 5.00 stake – already 109 times the bet.

How a Trueways Board Grows

The reels are not a fixed shape. Each column can hold anywhere from a few symbols up to eight, and the ways count is the product of those six heights – which is why 262,144 is the maximum rather than the constant.

The practical effect is that the same game can be a modest board one spin and an enormous one the next, without any announcement. Unlike the Kalamba titles in this batch, there is no counter printed on screen telling you where you stand.

What you can read instead is the frame: a board at full extension fills the marble arch from top to bottom, and a short one leaves visible gap above the symbols.

The Free Spins

The round is opened by SCATTER symbols – a clenched fist wreathed in lightning – and announced across the board: 12 FREE SPINS, with Push Spin to start free spins underneath.

A BONUS ACTIVE plaque replaces the buy button on the left during the round, and a Free spins counter sits in the bottom-right corner of the bar.

What the Session Produced

The base game paid 6.00 FUN against a 10.00 bet – under the stake, from three medusa medallions – and 0.50 on another spin.

The hold-and-win round was an entirely different game: 545.00 against a 5.00 stake, with the board still filling.

The balance moved 954.00, 747.00, 309.00 and 209.00 FUN across the run, the sharp drops being the bonus purchases.

The Buy Bonus

A gold BUY BONUS plaque sits against the left edge of the reel frame, below Zeus, in the position BGaming uses across its catalogue.

On a game where the base reels pay under one times the stake and the round pays a hundred, the buy is not an accelerator – it is the entrance.

The Interface

BGaming keeps the bottom bar to three readings: balance on the left, Total bet with a stepper in the middle and Total win on the right, with an A for autoplay and a round spin button at the end.

The game title runs vertically down the right-hand edge of the window throughout, and during the round the bar adds the free-spins counter.

Who Should Play It

Olympus Trueways suits players who want the widest board they can find and a hold-and-win with a visible target. A 96.84% return is excellent, the 48-position counter is one of the clearest progress indicators we have seen, and the Olympus artwork is properly grand rather than generic.

What you have to accept is a base game that pays in fractions of a stake. Six crowns is five times the bet; the round is worth a hundred. This is a game about getting into the feature and filling the grid.
