Rage of Olympus OverviewRage of Olympus is a pay-anywhere slot from Funky Games, released on 22 October 2024. It plays on a 6x5 grid with tumbling wins, has an RTP of 96% and a published maximum win of 15,000x the bet. The format will be familiar to anyone who has played the big Olympus-themed tumble slots of recent years: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen pay, winning symbols vanish, new ones drop in, and winged multiplier orbs add to the result. Funky Games adds a buy option, a Double Chance bet and a free spins round with a growing total multiplier. All figures below were read from demo play at a 100 base bet, the stake used in most of our captures. A Temple Above the CloudsThe grid sits between two golden columns in a marble temple, with pale sky and more columns in the distance. On the right stands a bearded, red-skinned god in armour – Zeus in a much angrier mood than usual, which fits the title. The symbols are cut gems in green, yellow, red, blue and purple, plus three relics in round golden frames: a chalice, a stone tablet held in a green-gloved hand and a sceptre. The scatter shows Zeus’s face with the word SCATTER beneath it. During the free spins the background darkens into a storm, with lightning over the mountains behind the temple. How the Pays WorkWins are counted by the number of matching symbols anywhere on the grid, in three bands: 8–9, 10–11 and 12–30. After each win the paying symbols explode and the grid refills from above, and the Tumble Win box at the top adds up the whole sequence. At the 100 bet the chalice is the top symbol: 250 for 8–9, 1,000 for 10–11 and 2,500 for 12 or more, which is 25x. The tablet pays 200, 500 and 1,500, and the sceptre 100, 200 and 1,200. Among the gems, the red pays 75, 150 and 1,000; the yellow 60, 120 and 800; and the green 40, 100 and 500. The lower gems sit below these on the paytable screen. The bands are wide, so the step from ten symbols to twelve is where the money is: for the chalice it is worth two and a half times more, and for the sceptre six times more. The Multiplier OrbsWinged purple orbs carry multipliers. In one base-game capture, a 6x and a 4x orb landed during a tumble sequence that paid 29.90, while a 2x orb appeared in a free spins capture. Our base-game capture does not show exactly how the two orbs were applied to that sequence. In the free spins, the orb values feed a running Total Multiplier shown in a laurel badge on the left of the screen, which is where they matter most. Free SpinsFour scatters on the grid paid 300 (3x) in our session and opened the free spins intro screen, which awarded 15 free spins. In the round, the Total Multiplier grows as orbs land, and it stays for the rest of the round. Our captures show it at 28x with four spins left and 30x with two spins left, while a tumble box displayed a 35x value during one sequence. That growing multiplier is what makes the round. A single tumble of 55 became part of a running total of 3,045 with four spins to go, and two spins later the round stood at 5,905 – 59x the stake – after a 1,265 tumble. The Ceiling and the PaytableThe gap between the paytable and the maximum win is the key to this game. The best a single symbol can pay is the chalice at 25x for twelve or more; the published ceiling is 15,000x, six hundred times that figure. No combination of plain symbol wins can bridge that gap. Everything above a few dozen times the stake has to come from tumble chains and multipliers, and above all from the free spins, where the Total Multiplier carries over from spin to spin. That is why the base game can feel quiet for long stretches: its job is mostly to deliver the four scatters that open the round. Buy Free Spins and Double ChanceA panel on the left offers Buy Free Spins. At the 100 bet it costs 10,000, which is 100x the stake. The buy screen, titled “Buy Bonus Session”, shows the price and the bet together before you confirm, and has its own minus and plus buttons, so the stake can be changed on that screen without closing it first. Below it is the Double Chance switch, described as a higher chance to win the feature. Turning it on raises the stake by a quarter: at the 100 base bet the displayed bet becomes 125, and the buy price rises in step to 12,500. In both of our captures the buy cost 100x the displayed stake, and Double Chance is a 25% surcharge on every spin in exchange for more frequent free spins. What Our Session ShowedThe base game paid modestly. The 29.90 tumble with two orbs was worth 0.3x at the 125 Double Chance stake, and a 400 tumble later in the same session was the best base-game sequence we captured. The free spins round was different in kind. With the Total Multiplier sitting near 30x, single tumbles reached three- and four-figure amounts, and the round had already paid 59x with two spins still to go. For comparison, the best base-game tumble we captured, 400, was worth 3.2x at the 125 stake; the one free spins tumble of 1,265 was worth more than three times that on its own. Who Should Play ItRage of Olympus is for players who enjoy the tumble-and-multiplier format and want a free spins round where the multiplier keeps building. The 96% RTP is standard, and a 15,000x ceiling gives the round real room to grow. The caveats are the usual ones for this style: the base game pays small until orbs arrive, the buy costs a full 100x, and the Double Chance option adds 25% to every spin. Players looking for something new in the genre will find the format very close to its better-known rivals. Where to Play Rage of OlympusYou can try this game on Casino007 Online Casino.
