Tomb of Gold Reimagined

Tomb of Gold Reimagined is an Egyptian slot from Play’n GO, released on 26 March 2026 as a new take on the studio’s Tomb of Gold. It plays on a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, returns 96.24% at low volatility, and takes bets from 0.10 to 100. The top prize is 10,000x the bet. Inside The Golden Tomb

The reels stand inside a dark temple hall lit by burning braziers, with red lanterns on the pillars and a seated pharaoh statue on the right. Above the grid, three guardian statues rest on a golden ledge: a falcon with a pile of blue gems, a red and gold cobra, and a purple Anubis jackal with gems at his feet. The “Tomb of Gold Reimagined” logo and the four jackpot plaques run down the left side.

The symbols are set on dark stone tiles. The premiums are a gold pharaoh mask, a purple cat mask, a green scarab and a blue ankh, and the low symbols are A, K, Q, J and 10 in coloured metal.

The Paytable

With 4,096 ways, symbols pay from two of a kind on adjacent reels. At a bet of 100 the paytable shows these values for six, five, four, three and two of a kind:

Six pharaoh masks pay 8x the bet on a single way. Because each extra symbol on a reel multiplies the number of ways, several masks stacked on the first reels add up quickly.

Ways Wins In Action

Every win in our screenshots is announced with the number of ways. Four pharaoh masks filled the whole first reel in a spin that paid 200 across 4 ways. Pharaoh masks on the first two reels paid 300 across 6 ways – 50 per way, the two-of-a-kind value. Cat masks near the top of the first reels paid 120 across 4 ways – 30 each, again exactly the two-of-a-kind value.

The low symbols count as well: Js scattered across the grid paid 200 across 2 ways, and a longer run of cat masks paid 300 across 2 ways. Each win comes with a “Congratulations!” message under the reels.

How Ways Are Counted

With 4,096 ways there are no fixed lines. A win needs matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left, and the number of ways is the number of matching symbols on each reel multiplied together. Two pharaoh masks on the first reel and three on the second give 2 × 3 = 6 ways, so a two-of-a-kind worth 50 pays 300 in total. That is why stacks on the first two or three reels matter far more than a single symbol on each reel.

The same logic makes six of a kind so valuable: a full reel of four masks on each of the six reels would be 4,096 ways at once, which is where the 4,096 figure comes from.

Four Fixed Jackpots

At a bet of 100 the plaques read Grand 100,000, Major 10,000, Minor 5,000 and Mini 2,000 – 1,000x, 100x, 50x and 20x the bet. Slot catalogues list them as fixed jackpots, and their clean multiples of the bet mean they scale with the stake.

Lock N Gold & Bonus Of Anubis

The bonus is introduced with a purple banner: the Anubis statue glows above the reels and the game announces “Lock N Gold & Bonus of Anubis”. The screen then changes completely. The dark temple turns into a bright golden hall, the regular symbols disappear, and the grid becomes 24 empty stone tiles marked with small gold stars.

A counter in the top right corner shows Re-spins: 4/4. In our screenshot the first special symbols have already landed – a blue pyramid and a golden coin with a triangle emblem – and the three guardian statues stand above the grid, ready to react. Slot catalogues describe the round with sticky symbols, respins, symbol collection and bonus symbols, which suggests that the symbols that land stay in place while the respins continue.

The Three Guardians

The falcon, the cobra and Anubis are more than decoration. Each statue has its own colour – blue, red and purple – and the blue pyramid in our bonus screenshot shares the colour of the falcon’s gems, which suggests a link between each statue and the symbols collected during the round. The Bonus of Anubis carries the name of the purple jackal, whose statue lit up when the bonus was announced.

Back in the temple, the result of a bonus is shown under the reels. One of our screenshots shows “Won 300 on bonus game” – 3x the bet, a modest result, with the Grand, Major, Minor and Mini still waiting.
