Scatter Ka Ching Overview

Scatter Ka Ching is a Fazi slot on a five-by-three grid with 10 paylines, built as a classic fruit machine and lit from underneath with fire. Its entire upside rests on one symbol that is not fruit at all.

A pin-up woman lands on the reels carrying a multiplier, and the demo catches her at 0.5x, 2x, 3x and 20x.

Theme and Graphics

The reels sit against a black panel framed in gold, with towering stacks of gold coins banked up both sides of the screen and loose coins tumbling past. The SCATTER KA CHING logo is a red-and-gold marquee across the top, with a 1950s pin-up in a red dress beside it.

The symbols are standard fruit-machine stock – a red 7, watermelon, grapes, plum, orange, lemon and cherries – but when they form part of a win the positions beneath them erupt in flame, which makes a paying board unmistakable at a glance.

Payline markers run down both edges in ten coloured tabs, numbered so you can trace a win across the grid. All figures below come from demo play at a 1,000.00 RSD bet.

The fire effect is the presentation’s one real idea, and it is used well. Symbols that are part of a win sit in flame while the rest of the board stays dark, so a paying board reads instantly even before the numbers appear – a better solution than the tangle of line traces most fruit machines use.

The Paytable

The red 7 leads at 100,000 for five, 20,000 for four, 5,000 for three and 2,000 for two. Against the stake that is 100x, 20x, 5x and 2x.

The watermelon and the grapes share second place at 25,000 / 10,000 / 2,500 / 1,000 – 25x at the top. The plum and the orange share a rung at 20,000 / 4,000 / 1,000 / 500, and the lemon and the cherries sit at 10,000 / 2,500 / 500.

Two things are worth drawing out. Every symbol pays from two of a kind, which on ten lines keeps something landing constantly. And the 7 at 100x is four times the next-best symbol – a steep first step for a table with only seven entries.

Note also the bottom rung. Two lemons pay 100 on a 1,000 stake – a tenth of the money – and two plums pay half the bet. Those are winning combinations that cost you most of the spin.

The Multiplier Symbol

The pin-up is the game’s real mechanic. She lands on the reels as a framed portrait with a number printed on a scroll beneath her, and two panels at the top of the screen show which values are currently in play.

The demo records four of them. One board shows two portraits reading 0.5x, with the top panel confirming 2x and 0.5x. Another shows three portraits reading 20x, with the panel reading 3x and 20x.

That 0.5x is the detail most players would miss. The multiplier can be less than one – it halves the win rather than raising it. A symbol that looks like a bonus can cost you half the money, and the game does not signal the difference except by the number on the scroll.

It is an unusually honest piece of design, in its way. A studio that wanted the symbol to feel purely good would have started the range at 1x; including a half means the multiplier is a genuine gamble rather than a gift, and the panel at the top tells you which values are live before the reels stop.

The 20x board paid 20,500 against the 1,000 stake – 20.5 times the bet, and by a wide margin the best result in the session.

What the Reels Actually Pay

The demo’s results against the 1,000 stake run 500, 800, 5,000, 5,400, 10,000 and 20,500.

In multiples that is 0.5x, 0.8x, 5x, 5.4x, 10x and 20.5x. Two of the six returned less than the spin cost, and the two largest both involved the pin-up.

The 10,000 result is a good illustration of the paytable working on its own: six watermelons across the first two reels with plums behind them, connecting on enough of the ten lines to reach ten times the bet without any multiplier involved.

The balance drifts from 499,800 down to 443,700 across the captures, which is the texture of a game that pays often and pays modestly.

Note the 5,400 result too. Six cherries across the first two reels with sevens behind them produced 5.4 times the stake – better than the 5,000 from a cleaner-looking board, because the sevens on the right were completing lines the cherries had started.

Ten Lines, Drawn Out

A dedicated page in the rules shows all ten paylines as diagrams on a grid – three straight rows, then the Vs, the zigzags and the stepped patterns.

On a ten-line game that page is genuinely useful. With forty or fifty lines the diagrams become an unreadable wall; with ten, a player can actually learn which paths pay and recognise them on the reels. It is the kind of information the coloured tabs down the sides are there to reinforce.

RTP, Volatility and Max Win

The RTP is 96%, right at the modern standard. Volatility is rated Low and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet.

Low is defensible on frequency. Every symbol paying from a pair on ten lines means a result on a large share of spins, and the demo has only one capture without a win on it. The balance moves in small steps rather than lurches.

But the ceiling tells a different story about where the money is. The best payline in the game pays 100x; the maximum is 10,000x. Closing that gap takes the pin-up at a high multiplier landing on a board that is already paying well – 100x multiplied by 20x is 2,000x, and several lines doing that at once is the rest of the distance.

So the Low rating describes the fruit and not the woman. Most spins are small and frequent; the game’s entire top end depends on a single symbol whose multiplier can be anything from a half to twenty.
